Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the thread title.

Every point will need to be earned and if the huns are not in the SPL, the other SPL teams will want to beat us now more than ever as they may have the best chance in years to win the SPL.

I will miss the games against them, but I cant see me getting bored being 15/20 points ahead by Xmas. I buy my ST to watch Celtic which just happens to include 2 games against the huns. This may not be the case dependant on what happens over the next 3 years, but I will still buy my ST to watch Celtic.
What would be more annoying is if they stay in the SPL and they are 15 points ahead at Xmas. How would the people who sympathise for them feel then ?

    Voted No.
It's up to the other teams to encourage their fans to attend more games, increase their season tickets. Raise their standards, this will only bring the standards up, it may take a few seasons but the leauge will get stronger.
Look at motherwells season books increasing already because of the chance of them playing on a bigger stage.
    Onwards to 10 in a row !!

Ill be bored :( ill miss the feeling of sh!tting ma self when hearts go 1-0 ahead meaning we could go 2nd and they'll take over. But instead it'll be like when we were 20 points ahead. Doesnt really matter. But champions league.. * Yeah!!! Hopefully every scottish team qualifies for europe and gets the co-eff up, would be mental! :D(wont happen) plus espn loosing out on epl better start paying up if they want some of our scottish action!

I'll be delighted, it would be one big party atmosphere wise.

I'll definitely miss the derby games but I'll love the fact that these * can't even put in a challenge to stop us winning the league. They have robbed us and it's their time to sit and suffer, while we hopefully run away with titles.

nope, and I think it's misguided to assume we'll be so far ahead after all, the other clubs will have more of a chance to go on a good run now that Rangers are dead so teams like hearts, dundee united and motherwell might be able to keep in touching distance of us for a while.......then we motor away to the 2nd of what could be several in a row! :icon_mrgreen:

I've no doubt that someone will rise to challenge us. Otherwise Scottish football is in worse shape than previously thought.

As much as I love laughing at rangers and all...however I must admit it will get dull , yes we will win the league , but we will be winning a largely devalued title.

A club, or clubs, will step up to the plate.

I would never get bored anyway, I don't even get bored watching us in testimonials and friendlies.

Players will play below par, for starters. Stands won't be as filled, etc.

I'll be loving it. Now is the time for clubs such as DUTD, Aberdeen and Motherwell to rise up and provide a challenge, with the title in their sights.

I wont be bored this season as I think the novelty of winning the league is still pretty fresh. That said as regards people talking about 10 in a row, I think by the time we got to 5 unless rangers were back in contension I think people will be bored out their tree if we are stilll wrapping up the league by christmas.

Winning is fun but there does have to be some sense of competition. For a couple of years I will happily revel in winning but it would have to get boring eventually if we have no real challengers

My worse fear is that our best players become bored and start looking to want away at the end of season, a handfull of european games might not be enough to make them want to stay.

Yes. Not at first but winning the league every year without having to overcome anything will never come close to beating the Huns to it.

Tbh I'd prefer to have a weak rangers team in the SPL so we can laugh at them whilst we win the league.

First 3 years I'll be loving it, then it will get a little tedious but at the end of the day Celtic are strong because of shrewd business and a superb scouting and youth system.

Rangers were only ever strong because they were either borrowing obscene amounts of money via murrays personal banker, or they were using the the equivalent of financial steroids in the form of EBT's.

We will dominate Scottish football for a very long time regardless of NecRorangers fate. Even if they are allowed to walk into the SPL they will be so far removed from their former selves that they'll be lucky to finish 5th in the league.
