    Norwich on the May 22nd.
    And sure we are playing Chelsea in the US at the Yankees new stadium during the summer.

    That's all I know so far, but a few players don't want a major schedule all over so they can prepare for the CL qualifiers.

    I hope we don't go too far abroad. Don't want to tire the Bhoys out with Champions League qualifiers round the corner. Norwich is the only one announce so far, I really hope we play Aston Villa as a fundraiser for Stan as well.

    Not the only one... Reports out today saying Chelsea are playing PSG. * sucks.

    I don't know what's going on w/ preseason. CL qualifying is obviously the priority, but raising revenue in the offseason isn't optional either.

    Appears all hope is not yet lost for stateside Hoops. Nonetheless, was really looking forward to a day out for Celtic in New York and a crack at Chelski.

    The club should definitely put their foot down this summer and stay in Europe. If anyone outwith makes overtures, tell them only our reserves are available.

    The last couple of years have saw us trot all over the globe and I think a pre-season spent closer to home would benefit the squad much more. With Champions League qualifiers to contend, the majority of our focus should be put towards that and not in the direction of far-flung friendlies in a different continent.

    They should go to Ireland or some other country in Europe not fair on the players getting made to travel to country's like America and Australia to do the same kind of training they would do in a place closer to home.

    As long as we don't go on some globetrotting tour playing nothing teams just for the sake of commercial gain, stop tiring our players out before European qualifiers!

    Take them to Belgium or Denmark, good opposition to face there.

    If I am not mistaken, Celtic did a pre-season tour in the US in 1966 as well and we all know what happened after that.

    Keep the first team in Europe on some proper preparation for the Champions League. Send the Development Squad and U19s to America instead.

    I realise why they want to go over there, but the football needs to come first.

    Any rumors about when a preseason tour may be announced?

    I just looked up last year, and found an announcement was made circa May 18th (re: Australia.) Figure it would have to be any day now.

    Having shown ourselves to be grossly under prepared for Braga, Utrecht, and Sion, I would like us to prepare this year against European opposition. Like Eddie Bhoy just said, Belgians, Dutch, Danish, Austrians, Germans, Croatians, Serbs...these are the sides we'd get most benefit from facing, imo.
