    This really is pish. He's way over the hill now, but from 1998 until around 2003, Owen was destructively good at the very highest level. Injury prone, for sure, but when fit and firing he was an exceptional centre forward. Anyone that denies that, well, obviously didn't watch much football at that time. Or is a blinded xenophobe.

    Still, wouldn't touch him now - ruined by injuries, a genuine shame.
