Was hilarious! Tried to find some footage but it doesn't seem to be out there, gutted.

Yeah, suppose he could of been winding Neymar up prior.

he was on the floor for like 30 seconds :56:

almost every player in the world has stood still against an opponent, you wait for the defender to make the move then leave him on his * (if your good enough)

also to be a professional footballer you have to have some anount of arrogance to get there because you have to believe you are better then everyone

Ask most Celtic fans what their memories of Lubo Moravcik are and one of the first things they'll say to you is "He trapped with the ball with his *". That's showboating and we all loved it.

It's a part of the game that should be encouraged, it's great to see the skillful players showing what they can do. Football fans deserve to be entertained, we pay enough to watch the matches.

Agree with all of that but is anyone entertained by Neymar stopping the ball and flicking his leg about like he's doing * Irish dancing? Not the actual skill he beat the first defender with I mean.

LOVE Showboating!!! One of the best parts of the game to see something out of the ordinary or something you have never seen before. Ronaldinho for me was the best at it and I doubt anyone will ever be better. Nothing like a few flicks and tricks. It's also the only decent segment on the dying show that is Soccer AM.

Yes, he drew the defender in and absolutely raped him with a fantastic bit of skill.

It depends on the context for me, everyone loves a bit of girfuy triumphalism when you're stuffing a rival, but I'm not too keen on the 'look at me' type of showiness just for the sake of it.

Not sure if that makes sense to anybody, but I'm going with it!
