Followed him since his move. He's scored goals for fun at every level but how he'll top last night, I have no idea. World Cup final winner for Scotland would be as close as he'll get.

Sign Tony Watt on as long a contract as we can get him on asap.

Not to divert away too much but the lad Atajic looks to be every bit as much a goal machine and I'd love to see him get a wee glimpse or two of first team action this season.

 

Just watching the game again, and as Barca are lined up in tunnel Tony Watt just strolls past them all to take his place on the bench and no one Barca player looks up or takes any notice of him, they will next time that's for sure!

long way to go for young T but he's made an incredible start to his time in the 1st team sqaud...Last night was a very special moment for him which will make his confidence sky rocket..

He seems level headed and I hope he remains this way after his goal against the mighty Barca...Turning into a big time Charlie would only ruin him as it has many others,hope he keeps his head down and continues to apply himself as he has been lately..He certainly has a bright future ahead of him..

 

I was told lastnight his contract ends in the summer

 

I doubt we'll make a mess of this but the bhoy is about as natural a finisher as there is. He'll have other offers for sure but we'd do very well to tie him up for the next five years. Amazed it hasn't happened yet.

 

Just over a year left I believe.

Still not long enough though, need to get him signed up ASAP.

 

he should be an every game starter in my opinion.. i don't care what age he is, he has shown he can handle the pressure. him and hooper could form a deadly partnership given a decent run of games.

 

I was inspired by oor Tony to make myself a new sig!

 

Always believed he could be a nuisance and hard work to deal with for Barca and thought he should start, however I think Lenny got it spot on and probably thought the same thing but rather then starting him, bring him on to stretch them when the two teams may start to tire.

also lenny got some real * balls of unbreakable material to sub Watt on and take Lustig off.

Don't say that! Making me pessimistic...Liam Miller comes to mind.

Hope he's signed up in the new year (or before).

 

He should certainly be rewarded for his hard work soon.

I think he'll sign a contract in the next couple of months.
