Well I think the boy is fkn excellent! I hope he gets better every game, scores a boatload and becomes an utter legend.
He works his socks off every game and if he comes on at Celtic Park I hope the crowd cheer every touch he takes of the ball.

He was great again today, without scoring. His movement and ball control is second to none, in Scotland anyway.

He worked hard but is still a long, long way away from being a first choice.

Decision making was poor a lot of the time but you can't be too hard on him because the same could be said about a number of our players from middle to front.

I was very disappointed in Tony today. Until today I thought he was going to be the real deal. Todaqy I saw a side that I was not convinced with. At present he is good bit behind McGeoch on technical ability. His one on one situation today highlighted he still has a long way to go in the game.

I thought he was good today obviously still really young and learning.. People giving him grief about the 1 on 1 when he tried the Larsson chip over the gk .. * sake if it went in you'd be lauding him as the next Larsson or something :56: Fair play to him for trying it, its a difficult skill

Good shift worked very hard . Only fault i would put at him today was trying to be too smart with his finish . Only needed a simple finish nowt fancy .

I refuse to judge Tony Watt until end of this season
He's young, has talent and I'd prefer to see him over the long haul and developing.
Defo something about him though, but for me he's the kind of player that is better coming into a strong team to mix with them - but we've got a lot of injuries atm so today we were hoping for a bit too much from him too soon perhaps.

He was excellent in parts today but it was a bad miss in the 1st half, he tried to be too clever, that is inexperience and he will learn from things like that.

He's a strong kid, was very impressed with his hold-up play.

he's got a great attitude, works really hard, has a great burst of pace, and he is a real raw material, what could be the making off him is a strike partner that suits his style,
has the potential to become a top player. lets see where he is at come the end of the season.

I think he could become a class player, he's been doing very well. Still thought he was rubbish for the most part yesterday, tried to do far too much himself, but he's learning. Give him loads of SPL time this season and he'll prosper.

Watt has been easily Scotlands best player and he only came on with 12 minutes to go :56: it was too easy for him to beat their players, was too quick and strong for them.

Eh I think thats the green tinted specs you have on.:icon_mrgreen: Scott Allan has ran that game, what a player he is, and even Johnny Russell was brilliant in that second half setting up two goals.

Has to be said though, Tony Watt is already at that standard at the age of 18! Looks a class act!
