Lenny charged by the SFA

Wonder where Mr Murray got that from. Also this was the same guy manhandled by several huns; yet his evidence allowed them to walk Scot-Free.

Physical intimidation obviously doesn`t hurt as much as an alleged swear word.

I have said it on other threads also and will here again that this Sunday Calum Murray in the best possible light was incompetent. In another light he was doing his upmost to make sure there was no tim party being held on their teams own ground. I really think when you look at the reactions of the SFA, SPL, SFL and the media lapdogs since the huns went into administration there is one common theme ie taking care of "their" team. Keep putting out that everything will be ok. Secondly we have within the main organizations clearly efforts to cover tracks and do everyhthing to find a way out of the mess their cheating and coniving with the huns has got them into. Listening to the pathetic ramblings of Stewart Regan or the fact that Campbell Ogilvie has not as yet resigned or at lest taken a leave of absence as SFA president being but 2 examples.

Just like last year when Bougherra and Company got away scott free it is clear nothing has changed within the Scottish footballing powers and we need to continue to fight hard until there finally is a level playing field.

 

Saw this one coming to be honest and read it on the Celtic site about him facing the charge.

Think it's routine because of him being sent to the stand (which was a * pile of horse * in the first place) and hopefully Lenny and the club will appeal against it.

Very much doubt the appeal will be upheld though as we all know what the * SFA are like when it comes to Lenny. Just have to look at the farce of last season in them trying to break their OWN rules by giving him a consecutive ban instead of a concurrent one.

 

callum murray is a complete coward, to not have the backbone to explain yourself to a manager is pathetic, i hope he and the sfa get caught out and dragged through the mud.

do we have a good legal mind on board at Celtic at the moment? I feel that a confrontation with the authorities is brewing and its not un-related to the cheating at Ib**x. Hope we roll out the big legal guns on this one.

 

I'll admit... I kinda backed Murray pre-match in a thread about whether or not Rangers will get a penalty.
I take it all back.

What a * farce the refereeing and now the lying has become.

 

If what Lennon says he said was true I think it is wrong he was sent to the stand but I kinda seen this coming as its routine practice.Shouldnt have come to this stage in the first place though.

I honestly don't think we have a leg to stand on with this one. Last year's incidents are completely different. If Lenny could just take a defeat like a man then there wouldn't be an issue. We lost the last 2 games because we were the poorer team. End of.

 

why did murray wait until the players and management staff were going back out for the 2nd half to send lenny off when this all happened at the end of the first half. I honestly think if celtic appeal this they will win it quite easily sure if lenny was so abusive murray would have sent him off when they had words instead he waited 10 or so minutes and then sends him off when the team are coming out for the 2nd half something just doesn't add up

Lennon NEEDS to appeal this, if he doesn't, not many people will believe he's telling the truth and he'll look like a liar, I personally believe him 100%.

Not exactly an article that is pleasing to read, writer seems to 'have it in' for Lenny.

A suspended penalty will probably get activated now for the Hampden/ Ibrox incidents which will mean a fine and maybe some time out of the dugout - TBC
