He's a mate of mine :56: he was told by the tv people to say that, he didn't really mean it. That said he actually is an arrogant * so I can't stick up for him there.

It's an allright watch, it's good to get a small insight into the club.

Saw who won there, highlight below if you dont want to know.

Your man Gareth, attacking minded midfielder with good feet and an eye for goal, other finalist Gavin is a great deep lying playmaker, great eye for a pass and very composed on the ball, should sign him aswell IMO.

I just saw that they are showing Football's next Star- Celtic FC here on one of our soccer tv channels - Fox Soccer Channel starting in January. I wonder how many episodes it will be.

Neil Lennon came in to welcome the lads to Celtic and he said he couldnt wait for him(Lenny) to shut up so he could get back to eating his dinner, or something along those lines.

Apparently doing very well, scoring most weeks for under 17s.

Just finished watching the series, all the episodes are on youtube. Looks like the winner is already looking towards using Celtic as a stepping stone, lol.

In fairness, I think he means use the show as a stepping-stone. :smiley-laughing002:

He isn't a professional for Celtic yet, and I guess he's not wanting to count his chickens...

The show just debuted on Fox Soccer Channel today. I thought it was pretty well-done and it's GREAT publicity for the club in the US market. Should produce a lot more fans from this side of the Atlantic. I'm looking forward to the remainder of the shows and have my DVR set to record.

The best part was a commercial run by some supporters group offering charters to Glasgow to watch games live. It was really well-done and had a lot of old black and white footage of games mixed in with scenes of the brilliant atmosphere in Parkhead. It literally gave me goosebumps.
