No Excuses was used at the end of MON's first season. The quote on the t-shirts at the end of his second season was "Hoops we did it again"....

Don't remember us ever having 'no excuses', it wasn't MON's first season, we just had 'Champions' on the front and the league table on the back. His second season we had 'hoops we did it again on the front' and 'milk, lemonade, chocolate' on the back.

I don't want to be pedantic but the 'No Excuses' slogan was definitely seen on players t-shirts during the treble season of 2000/1. It's quoted in Ron Mackenna's excellent 'Keep The Faith' book which documents that season.

It can be found on the following link:

Remember my dad taking me to this game, I was about 9. I used to go to loads of games before but was the first time (I can think) I seen us lift a trophy. What a day it was! Oasis belting over the tannoids! Remember ripping up the old paper book season tickets extra pages to use as confetti... Brilliant!

The 10 in a row tshirt was class. Bring back smell the glove I say :celt_2:

i kind of hope the slogan has no relevance or meaning to rangers (in administration)'s situation.

jock steins quote about creating new legends etc. would be a good one
