still not a huge fan , his positioning sometimes wanders and i always have a lump in my throat when a long ball comes his way ... but he has been playing better . hopefully it continues

No, I don't need his phone number to notice his attitude and efforts over the 90 minutes.

Do you need to have a pint with Lennon to understand his attitude?

Although it is so much harder to judge a player when you watch him on TV, I really do not think Wilson is good enough for a Celtic team aspiring for the last 16 of the Champions League.

He always seems to make a fatal or near fatal mistake in every game.

Hearts ahould have scored after his latest. Good defenders can shepherd a ball out of play with ease, it is a basic requirement. You don't often see them lose the ball, sometimes they concede a corner, but Wilson somehow allows the Hearts to get the ball & set up what should have been a tap-in.

No doubt about it, he has been in fine form of late. But i still wonder what goes through his head at times. The mistake he made yesterday was nothing short of a sunday league error. It could just have easily lead to a goal and we would be slaughtering him for it. I think he loses concentration at times. If he could cut out the daft mistakes like that he would be a fine defender, because he has all the attributes to be a good centre half IMO.

The only thing I can think you may be referring to there is when he was shepherding the ball out of play and was chopped down by the Hearts player nowhere near the ball, and Craig Thomson somehow didn't give the foul and even more inexplicably booked Wilson.

While I would say Kelvin makes mistakes, he was completely fouled yesterday, it wasn't his fault, the Hearts player chopped through his leg to win the ball

The incident yesterday was not a gaffe by any manner of means, he was scythed down and it was a free kick.

Those still slating the guy have not been watching us over the last month or 2, he has made a couple of mistakes but overall there has been a huge improvement from him.

I was referring to the mistake second half when he had nobody near him and passed it straight to a Hearts player. It was abysmal. I think he switches off occasionally. I do agree with the one first half, i think it was a foul also.

Really grown into playing for Celtic, I have been impressed with him this year. Another thing that has impressed me is he could have just sat back and taken a wage and not bothered that he wasn't playing, but he has obviously burst his gut to get back into the team and at the moment deserves to stay there

No you do not because Lennon has been at the club for a number of years in many capacities and had probably thousands of interviews.

Wilson on the other hand has done almost no interviews and last year was probably not far into double digits in games. Maybe I have misunderstood your comment, but I seemed to think you meant that he just wasn't trying hard enough or something because he had a "bad attitude".

Can't believe how great he's been, like literally to the point where I have to rub my eyes at the game!

One time a few weeks back in the CL at Paradise Benfica broke clear, must have been 3 against 1 or something, and I thought "oh here we go" then Super Kelvin charges out of defence like a total madman and destroys one of their attackers, knocking him flying and the ball out of touch.

Got the loudest applause all night.

Big mans been outstanding this season, grew into the proper Celtic centre half he should be. Also benefited from having a solid and regular partner in Mulgrew.

Yeah Mulgrew, the dark guy with a beard who has played next to him for the past few fames :97::87:

Someone needs to teach him how to usher a ball out for a goal kick, he either needs to kick it out or learn to shield a it properly, that's a few times he had done that now. Apart from that hope he continues up this form.

You know what I mean, the best part of the season has been Mulgrew.
