My thoughts exactly, I'm all for giving players a chance but I have no hope for Kelvin Wilson. Hopefully he comes good and proves me wrong but I would be very, very surprised - I can't remember a game where he has impressed me.

Based on all his appearances, the quicker he's out the door the better.

In what respect? Lennon took action almost immediately when he didn't find form.

Bring back Loovens. Kelvin Wilson is horrific. Shouldn't be near the squad. I fear for us if he starts in any european game.

he was frozen out because he agreed a deal with us, not because they thought he was pish.
Personally, I think he is pish. Rogne and Mulgrew are far superior in that position.

Think Wilson has played about 20 games or so for Celtic? I see what you're saying and I do suppose he could turn the supporters views on him around with some good performances......although, I think we've more chance of hun taking over as owner and changing the hoops to a union jack dress........

Haven't seen him in pre season as I don't bother with friendlies at all.

Wouldn't need to see them either as the evidence of him being pish was there long ago.

Not good enough and he has had plenty of time to prove otherwise.

He isn't a foreigner that has been in for a culture shock, he has driven a few hundred miles up the road.

It's the past performances that you're talking about but the thread topic has been revived due to his performance in a friendly. Just adding more and more weight to the train of thought that hes pish. He'll never escape it now no matter how well he does.

What is this * nonsense on him being judged on a pre season friendly ? He is being judged on his * dire performances over the past year. This isn't a mid table championship team this is Celtic where you are under constant pressure to win every game. He does not have the bottle to play at a club this size and his performances in the big games last year proved that. I'll tell you something, guys like Gary Caldwell, Stephen McManus, Darren O'Dea may have been players with limited abillity but they constantly handled the pressure in the big games and this guy has nowhere near the mental strength of players like this.

He needs to stay out the team if we want to get into the champions league. His awareness and positional sense at times is Sunday league material.

I don't think he's good enough for the SPL never mind Europe.

    I'm not picky.
It's been revived due to him being so pish. Just so happens that he's continued to be pish from the resultant friendly.

If he performs better he may escape it. Look at Samaras. People - including me - were wanting him gone and he actually performed really well since about November last year, and hopefully he can carry it on.

So it's possible he can maybe turn it around BUT so far he's not showing he will do that.
