Who should play: Samaras or Stokes?

Stokes. Sammy is better LM than as a striker.

 

Stokes. Sammy will most likely come crashing down to his usual form soon enough. Seems harsh but every * time man, every time I say "sammy's a decent player" his form dips. Maybe I'm jinxing it, either way, I hope for what's best for the team.

 

Stokes his partnership with Hooper will create lots of goals...

stokes for me, seem to press the ball higher up the field when stokes is in the team and there is no doubting the stokes/hooper partnership is better than sammy/hooper.

Think lenny will change it as and when he see's fit.

Does everyone not think that the fact we are debating this shows that big sammy has done well recently. Not his biggest fan but he had been playing well.

I'd go for stokes though especially tomorrow at home to ICT. Hearts game was for samaras though and was proved right. Gotta remember the polish guy too he might start banging them in too. I think bangura will be off ski soon though.

At the moment I would have to say both with Sammy on the left making those runs - Sammy is not an out-and-out striker whereas Stooper are! Last season I would have had Commons on the left but he still needs to prove himself this year.. HAIL HAIL!!

 

Both should be back-up players in my opinion but it would really depend on the fixture as to which one plays to me.

 

You don't beat around the bush.

 

Stokes, easily. Most goals scored, most assists. Easy choice.

But I'd have Samaras on Left Wing. I'd like to see Celtic go up by 3 with at least half an hour left in the game so that some of the new or young bhoys can get a shot. Getting more gametime for our new polish defender, the new polish striker, Commons coming back from injury, or youngster like Twardzik or McGeough would be great.

 

Rotate the starting 11. I understand what some are saying - don't change the winning team, however I think our squad has enough quality to give some players a rest and others an opportunity to play. We don't have to play still the same 11 as huns. Both Sammy and Stokesy will play their role.

 

cant decide, neither will let us down, both played crucial roles in pegging back the 15 points. Maybe at home i'd go with Stokes and hooper up front for their movement but then maybe with Forrest/Samaras/Commons fighting it out for 2 places on the wing. Brown/Wanyama/Ledley to fill 2 places at CM.

 

Ledley should always be first choice in the middle of the park when fit.

 

stokes has to start up top along side hooper imo. samaras is better at cutting in from the left.

 

I went for Stokes as I want him up front with Hooper and Sammy on the left.

Going for Sammy on this one. Not only does he give extra options up front, but when he drifts wide he terrorises full backs and puts in good crosses. Although I know Stooper will be our pairing at home, and I can't fault Lenny for it, in front of our own fans you can usually always back one or both of them to grab some goals.
