Old Celtic Tops?

Was getting ready there and looking for my Celtic top. Then I came across the old black magic top and thought " * aye, that was one of my favourite away shirts".

Question is......Do any of you still like to wear the old jerseys?

 

I much prefer retro tops. For one thing I really object to the joint sponsorship, not to mention Tennant's is crap. The most recent shirt I have is the bottle green LL 40th anniversy away top from 2007/08, but most are much older than that, including the '88 Centenary home & away, etc.

 

* yeah, i still wear the lisbon lion anniversary shirt from a few seasons back, that was my fav home top

 

this may well sound silly but i like the old tops and have no probs wearing them but sometimes when i have you can hear people say something like "ha ha thats ancient man, cheapskate" etc, heard stuff along those lines said to others and does give you a bit of a complex

 

That season was the last home top I bought.
Since then I've only bought the bumble-bee top.

 

I can only wear my tops from recent years as tops like the original bumble bee are like age 7 yrs. would still be wearing that if i could though!

is there anywhere that sells old retro tops online?

 

You often see then on ebay mate. Not sure about anywhere that sells them as new.

 

I,m superstisious about tops if we are winning I dont change it until we lose. At present I am on the last bumble bee top (yellow n black) got it as a gift from my wife and tbh was never really that keen on it until I started wearing it to the games.

I also hate it when we play in a new strip until we get our first win in it ... Sad I know

 

I only wear older tops.

 

Found the centenary jersey today along with some other jerseys. It was a hand me down, I've had since I was a wean and still fits, am for the Motherwell game on the 25th and think I'll wear it, only negative is I got 8 Mc Stay on the back of it at a fair an is cheap looking but the shirts still in * knick. I tried to post a picture of it but don't know how to upload the it, got it from my camera to my computer but that's it.

 

Once the image is on your computer you need a web host to upload to.

Once uploaded to an album you then need to past in the URL of the actual image into the box above that looks like this Remember though only use the http:// once not twice.

I still have most of my old shirts. Got all the home ones since 2003 in a draw at home. My favourite old one was the dark green away shirt from 2004/05.
