Ok then, who is more effective for Celtic: Joe or Ki?

Definitely one of our most consistent players, if not the most consistent, and deserves a new long-term deal as has already been mentioned.

Brilliant player and I think when our interest in him was declared is the most excited I've been about a transfer for a long time, exception is Robbie Keane of course. Hard-working, decent simple passing, gets a foot in, good engine, decent skill on the ball, willing to play different positions and gets a few goals. His only drawback is his one footedness really. Second name on the teamsheet after Brown for me and Lenny.

I'd have Mulggrew as first name on the team sheet :50:

The only reason he wasn't first was because you'd have to decide where to play him :50:

Tbh people who don't 'see' what Ledley brings to Celtic just don't have a clue when it comes to the game of football.

My only criticism (ok there are two but one is not about his performance on the pitch!) is he can sometimes let a game pass him by.
But then i often thought Paul Scholes was the same... the BAM! He smashes one in the top corner or plays the best through ball you have ever seen.

Joe should probably score more in this League, but he is not a * player by any means. I know i have been critical of him in the past, but that's usually *-hurt after a poor defeat :icon_mrgreen:

Well worth his wages and i would have him and Kayal in the centre of midfield all season long. They just play well together.

Fantastic player. While doing a lot of the work that goes unnoticed, also chips with the goals, important ones as well. More than cpable of being a 15-20 goals a season player

Na, maybe he just fancies somewhere he feels like he can settle down in.

Don't think Joe is thinking of leaving anytime soon. Wasn't too long ago he says he'd accept a contract for life.
