I think if hooper or stokes got injured you would see sammy up top before bangura.

Oh well, looks like we'll have to wait even longer to see him have a full game.

I agree but we could easily need him. Our injuries have a tendency to mount up.

Hopefully Lustig is fine and gets to settle.

Anyone else noticing everytime we sign players from Scandanavian countries the players either take ages to get up to fitness or keep getting injured. Happened to Rogne, Hooiveld and Rasmussen and now Bangura.

It could be the difference in training regimes, a possible shock to the system when you switch to something different. Don't really know to be honest but thats rogne, hoiveld and now bangura who we have signed that seem to be reasonably injury prone.

It is usualy because they play summer football therefore they are not match fit and kicked a ball for months and need to under go "pre season training" very rapidly.

Don't mean to be harsh, I don't think he is what we need but in saying that, who the * am I?

Like to see him shipped, i know weve not seen much of him but from what i have poor touch, npt much luck and yet to score if im correct? Wages could be used to bring in a more consistant player.

Shame because Peterhead probably would have been a good game for him.

Not good enough for a club like Celtic were you need to settle very very quickly.

Bit harsh saying you'd like him shipped, no?
    Doubt he's on huge wages.
And how could you talk about him being consistant?? He's hardly put 2 games together, infact he hasn't even had a chance to establish a name for himself!

Not really no, do you not think if he were worthy of getting a start he would have had one? Even when Samaras was going through a bad spell he was chosen before Bangura, which looks to me that hes not putting a huge amount of effort or standing out in training. Fair play i understand where your coming from but every little adds up. Would personally prefer to see him sold to a more suited club where he will start and bring someone in such as Rhodes or along those lines who may be around the same wage bracket.

Shame, he might even have got a shot on target against Peterhead.

Hopefully this adds a bit more urgency in the hunt for a striker, though.

    in a relentless 9-5...
I remeber this article when I see threads like this and have a little chuckle. Personally though, not willing to write him off until the end of the season...

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14865489.stm

Sierra Leone's Mohamed Bangura has revealed he is aiming at a move to one of Europe's elite leagues at the end of this season.
He signed a four-year deal with Scottish club Celtic just last month moving from Swedish side AIK Stockholm.
The 22-year-old is hoping a good season in Scotland can attract the attention of clubs in England, Spain and Italy.
"Coming to Celtic is a good move for me, but I want to reach the top," Bangura told a number of newspapers.
"That's what I'm working towards and this is a step forward for me. I am still fighting to reach the highest level."
Bangura, who made his debut as a substitute in Saturday's 4-0 defeat of Motherwell, is hoping he can take his international form to the Scottish Premier League.
He made his mark last weekend for Sierra Leone scoring from the penalty spot to earn his side a 2-1 win over Egypt in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
"To come to Celtic gives me a good feeling because it's another step in my career," he said.
"I have to work to get to the top. I'm talking about the Spanish league, the English league or maybe the Italian league.
"If I can do my best here with Celtic then I will see what the future holds.
"If possible, I could make the next step in one year - if everything goes well and the club is willing, why not?"
