Give him a chance. The trophies will come. We could have won 3 trophies easily last season. They will come in good time.

    Incredible stats.

Steadied the ship when he took over and launched a proper assault on all domestic fronts last season, unlucky to only come away with one trophy.

This season, after a rocky start, we're right back in it and on course to challenge for another treble. We also did well in Europe, only Athletico Madrid got the better of us.

A young, hungry manager who has assembled a young, hungry squad. I genuinely believe this team is capable of big things.

People who are saying that Celtic Managers are judged on trophies? Well they aren't not on trophies alone or else Gordon Strachan would have been a universal welcome manager at us.

Style of football, winning matches, European Nights, Old Firm Matches, signings and trophies are all criteria I would say.

Neil's been a rousing success in 5 of these categories I would say. The 6th and most important he has 1 trophy to his name just now, that will grow this year. He'll bring the league home.

Tbh I thought his appointment was too much of a gamble. Only time will sort that out but it is interesting when you look at the stats and strip away the hysteria of league positions and see how well he has done.

I would imagine that as a rookie manager his formative years are likely to be the least productive and therefore, whilst there are no guarantees, his stats may improve over time.

At least I hope so whilst Celtic manager.

I think the atmosphere people create around the club is a huge factor, too.

O'Neill did it. He galvanised the club and the support. Maybe by the time Strachan was here we were a bit spoiled, because he never had the same feel-good factor.

Lennon managed to re-create a good feeling amongst the support, and create a real connection. You only have to see the atmosphere at the final game of last season to see that.

Lennon has given us our pride back.

I think the categories that I said bring a feel good factor to the club, watching good football, with exciting players winning matches and big games brings a feel good factor to the club.

However Lennon went a step further, he was the one that initiated a singing section for the Green Brigade and he brought a siege mentality with the club and challenged all the wrongs that the club were previously 'taking on the chin'

It is a very important point, having the fans on your side. Something that WGS never quite appreciated, he just appreciated winning. Which I wish I appreciated more now to be fair to him.

This is the most excited and the most love I've felt for a Celtic side since Larsson was in the Hoops.

Great stats indeed.....keep it up Lenny your doing a great job :50:

    a couple of wee obversations-
Martin O'Neil had more money to splash during his reign and when Big Jock was manager Rangers were a great outfit, better than what Lenny's Bhoys face today.
I suppose each manager can only really be judged in their own generation/tenure.
WGS had a couple of great runs in Europe...what's his overall stats?
No matter which way we look at the stats, success boils down to the winning of trophies and making inroads into Europe(especially the CL).
I have no doubt Neil is going in the right direction but with financial restraints his task is a whole lot harder yet he's managed to attract some good young talent to the club
notibly,Wanyama,Ki & Hooper...he's got the team trying to play fast, flowing, attacking football (the Celtic way)...and then there's the Thunder! can't say it's all down to Lenny but the atmosphere at Paradise is among the best(if not the best) that i've been party to.
Yep,there's no doubt things are looking up at Celtic Park and with a bit more hard work some luck and togetherness Lenny can add trophies & titles to his CV.

    C'mon the Hoops :ynwacelti

Dont mean to be picky here but I can think of at least 5 defeats in Europe. Madrid x2, Sion, Utrecht and Braga.

Apart from that, it is a very good record. Also with the huns losing their star man in Sir Walter of Cardiganshire, a repeat of last seasons points total will see us win the title comfortably.

No I used to sit in the upper tier huns end corner, dont even know what its called lol that was my first season and were I was sitting in the 5-1 game only game I really remember from that season as the St Johnstone game my uncle and cousin used those seats and I was in the main stand, then I moved along into the middle of the upper tier for about 2/3 seasons, then the LL Lower behind the goa was there for about 5 seasons, now 121 been there 3/4 seasons. I never sat in the temporary stand at all but used to mind being there and a fox ran through it or dog or something once or twice.

Must admit the % ratio is far better than I imagined them to be. Hopefully these can be improved upon and a few tropies added along the way.

With a bit of investment when and where needed this team and under Lenny's leadership can take Celtic back to the very top and make a name once again for ourselves in Europe.

Discounting Europe where we expected to win * all. In his first full season he won one trophy the Scottish Cup. At the moment his side are sitting top of the league and are in the semi final of the League cup are still involved in the Scottish Cup what more do you expect ya rocket

two years down the line ? you mean one whole season with a points total of 93 , and with 50 points at new year and top of the league this term .

lenny has inherited a hurrendous squad , got rid of it all and bought a whole new , young , exciting team for around twelve million quid . a team that is now worth over 50 million . a team that can stay together for 4 years and be a truly top side.

look at the amount of good young players blossoming under his guidance ...his transfer record is exceptional , as is his stats above . very excited about wht neil is doing here , and we will win the league with a few games to go no doubt in my mind.:50:

It´s still zero CL matches, two times failed qualifying for europe at all and only one title.
I can see a future with Lenny as manager if we win the league title though.

The CL is probably a step too far away for us at present we have to be realistic , is it 2 qualifiers next season if we win the SPL ?? i will stand corrected if wrong though ..
Our countries coefficient is so low now this sort of thing is happening all the time ..
Having said that Lenny has grasped what he has to do and i feel now he has got us working as a team for each other this has been very important in this great run we are putting together ..
I believe the trophies will be in our Trophy cabinet by the end of the season and hopefully for many seasons to come ..I love the signing policys we have at the moment too :celt_2::shamrock:

Great stats but we need the league or he will go down just like most in the 90s and Mowbray.

Neil Lennon has been a revelation. I fail to remember any other manager who has went in to a job as big as this with no prior experience and thrived the way Lennon has.
