I disagree. I thought they performed the whole "takeover" segment very well and when HHH's music hit, I knew something good was about to go down. He doesn't really show up these days unless he has some big news (last night for example), or a big match (Taker at WrestleMania).

It'll be interesting to see how this progresses though and whether there is some type of "power struggle" between Vince and HHH in the next few months. Vince McMahon does not seem the type that would retire quietly and just let someone take over his job, especially when he feels himself that he is capable of continuing.

I've got a good feeling that we're about to see some of the best WWE TV we've seen in several years, as long as things change under HHH and they learn from their mistakes, eg, * up the big storylines.

 

i felt sorry for vince last night tbh. i dont get how the main man,the owner is overpowered like that tbh. i do know he has already spoken about stepping back and letting shane,stephanie and hhh take over anyway but not this early tbh.

 

In the past I wouldve seen last night as a set up for Vince to come back with something big but I'm not sure if he'll be back in the same capacity, all behind the scenes from him I reckon.

I hope this means HHH is actually going to fill the on screen role of Vince, as well as behind the scenes. You know, the major authority figure who has the final say on everything and makes appearances frequently, much like the Vince McMahon from the Attitude Era, when he'd be on TV every other week and not just on special occasions.

I'm really looking forward to next week's Raw. I can't remember the last time I felt like this about WWE. It really is must see TV once again and it's not been like this in years.
