It was definitely the best PPV I've seen in a long time. Best part! It was free on Sky Sports.

Sounds amazing what happened last night. I don't know why everyone hates John Cena so much. I like him. Someone mail me and explain everything that has been happening

I love Cena! He always brings it on the big occassions, like last night. Also, you know some * from the past (Hogan etc.) would never do the job the way he did last night.

He's a humble, nice man. But a poor wrestler.

    Which would you prefer?

I just go back to my point that Cena has had so, so many great matches, and always on big occassions, that I don't believe he's a poor wrestler at all. He knows how to get a strong reaction out of people, and that's what matters.

gettin a reaction out of people doesn't make you a good wrestler

Doesn't make you a good technical wrestler, but any wrestler would rather get a reaction out of 80,000 people in a Wrestlemania main event (see Hogan VS Rock, * match technically, but fantastic crowd reaction), than put on a really good match that no one will care about or remember.

But both can be done, and Punk AND Cena achieved that last night, like Cena has many times before much to his credit.

For the first time since ECW December to Dismember in 2006, I watched a full pay-per-view put on by World Wrestling Entertainment live. It took four and a half years for my disgust from that horrible show to actually care about an angle enough to watch a show. The WWE creative team didn't even need to do much work to make the CM Punk vs. John Cena feud work. Punk did that on his own.

Supposedly, Punk's WWE contract is supposed to be up as of midnight last night. Of course, Punk's incredible WWE Championship victory over Cena at WWE Money in the Bank makes for an interesting storyline. Did Punk re-sign a WWE contract in secrecy? Did Punk sign a one day extension so he could lose the WWE Championship on Raw tonight to Alberto Del Rio or Cena? For the first time since the Nexus invasion, the internet and the fans of the sport are talking.

Over the year, without proper competition, the WWE product has grown stale and boring, which made the Punk shoot promo on Raw three weeks ago one of the greatest things in the company in a long time. If Punk didn't win the World title at the pay per view, this would just be another failed angle the WWE didn't follow through with. With the title win, the possibilities are endless.

If Punk re-signed, then he may finally get a chance to prove to Vince McMahon that he is a main event star. If Punk didn't re-sign and somehow the belt ends up on Del Rio or Cena, the obvious feud would be with those two men. Of course, McMahon can find himself in a feud now with Cena because this "was all Cena's fault" to begin with.

While the immediate reaction following the pay per view has fans asking more questions than we can ever get answers for, one thing is for sure, Punk has "it." The fans in Chicago were hotter for Punk than any other crowd for any wrestler. The last time I could remember hearing a reaction like Punk got was Rob Van Dam at ECW One Night Stand. His opponent that night? John Cena.

The WWE has something special here; let's all just hope they don't mess it up.

    More from this contributor:

Can WWE afford to lose CM Punk?

the prt there that says did punk re-sign in secrecy had me thinking? when he ripped up the contract on raw last week did he have his lawer do a photocopy of it then sign id and maybe doing this to utterly wynd mcmhan up?

Not sure 'any' wrestler would, considering those that have walked away from, or rejected altogether, the WWE, such as Sting. They're in short supply, but there are guys out there plying their trade that do appreciate what it means to put on a technically strong match for a crowd that doesn't consist of children and adolescents.

Cannot wait for Raw tonight. Haven't been keeping up with it in recent weeks, but I'm sure tonight will be good. Hope I'm not dissapointed.

If Punk loses the title tonight to Del Rio (MITB cash in) or Cena (rematch clause), I will be so * * off. I wouldn't get too carried away just yet, there's still a chance they * this thing right up, even though they got the most important part right last night.

I pray that WWE are going to keep heading in the right direction and continue to cater to the fans that actually pay the money to attend these events or buy them on PPV and not just the kids who always want SuperCena to win.

The best thing about this is that although Punk may not be on Raw, it also means he can't lose the title tonight. Interesting, maybe he's just trying to make us believe he won't be there and he'll end up kicking off the show.
