Valdes move to Besiktas is off after the Turkish club tried to change the personal terms
No idea what happens to Valdes now he's far too good to be rotting at United Liverpool could do with him tbh but we all no they don't sign player from United

 

Charlie Austin moved into 1/2 tonight to join Man United. Think it's a relatively low risk signing for them, cheap, back-up to Rooney, and has a decent record of scoring goals in a poor QPR side last year.

 

Not like Rooney is banging them in though he's not a signing that will have Chelsea or City worried

 

Austin is the type of player I expect Liverpool to sign lately.

Too much of a gamble for a top 4 team imo.

 

Mental.

They don't need a back up striker, they need a striker to be the main man. Rooney isn't a lone striker. He's better off playing behind the striker.

 

After scoring 18 or whatever at QPR last year, Austin will score a lot more at United. Mind we were after him

 

Jelle Vossen has just signed for Club Brugge. He only moved to Burnley at the start of July.

That's pretty strange, but I've seen it happen a couple of times before. Brugge were probably offering a decent bit more than what Burnley actually paid for him and they've just thought might as well and let him go so they can maybe push the boat out for a more expensive striker.

Also, if Brugge can sign him there's surely no reason why we can't.

 

Maybe he just isn't that good anymore.

Never even knew they were still a team. Just checked their squad, Raul and Marcos Senna play for them!

 

I for one was delighted we never got him.

 

Maybe hiis club didn't want to deal directly with one of their rivals, so this move was 'engineered'.

Remember it happening with Robert Jarni years ago.

 

Is Anthony Martial any good? Going to United.

£30 + million fee seems steep.

 

Just watched a few youtube videos of him and tbh he doesn't look that special. They couldve had pedro for less money than they are spending on this kid.

 

I mentioned him a couple days ago.

He's good but that kind of money should buy you a finished player, a star, not a project.

Can't even truly believe any club would play that kind of money for him at this point... but that's a BPL club, so I guess it's possible.

Rony Lopes played a couple of games about 18 months ago or something for Man City, he must only have been 17 or 18 but I remember watching them and he looked great, wonder why they never used him since. He looked a similar style of player to Aguero or Tevez although played more in midfield than up front.

 

Athletic Bilbao just got Raúl García from Atlético Madrid.

Javier Hernández to Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

 

Inter Milan get Alex Telles from Galatasaray on loan.

Inter also close to Felipe Melo. If they get him Hernanes will go to Juventus.

Alex Telles is a very good player to get. The Hernanes thing seems like a step down in quality for me.
