Emre Can, Lallana, Markovic and Lambert are good signings for Liverpool I think, they've added good depth compared to Allen, Moses, Assaidi and Aspas. But aye they do really need two or three big signings like a Hummels, Khedira and Balotelli or players of those positions.

    Mignolet
    Johnson Skrtel Sakho Flanagan
    Gerrard Henderson
    Markovic Sterling Lallana
    Sturridge

That isnt the best looking of teams.

They should try and sell Reina, Agger, Lucas or Allen and Borini, with the money going about down there they'd probably get about £35million for 4 of them.

If I was them I wouldnt sign Lovren either, he's not that good no better than Agger probably not even as good I dont think, £20million would be shocking for him.

For me, that's a side fighting to finish maybe 6th or 7th at a push. Especially with the job the other top sides have done of strengthening.

Chelsea and Man City should finish in the top 2, they're the two best teams and their managers have had a season to bed (back) in.

After them though it could go either way I think between Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool. Arsenal probably have the upper hand team wise - probably have the best players, Liverpool the upper hand with their style of play - might find it easier to beat teams as they play really well as a team and Man U their history of usually always finishing near the top and a new manager who seems like he will demand a lot from the players.

That as it stands will probably be the top 7 teams, player wise after Man City and Chelsea id say theres a bit of a gap then Arsenal then a bit of a gap and not much between the other 4. If you were making a team out the bottom 4 of the top 7 you'd probably get a couple of players from each team in it...

James Rodriguez going to Real Madrid, looks like. Good business by Monaco if it goes through.

But *, Laporte is going to run out of space in his back pocket for all these strikers coming to La Liga. :icon_mrgreen:

And what does any of that have to do with the players I mentioned or the fact that sky still punt the EPL as the best league in the world?

You could tell who would win lets not lie. Between 1995-2004 it was either Man United or Arsenal. Between 2004-2012 it was Man United (surprise surprise) or Chelsea. Only since 2012 has there been more than 2 teams with any chance.

Next year though, can you really see by Chelsea and Man City?

You can't be the best if you don't have the best players. I mean I don't think any of the top 10 player in the world play in the EPL.

It is a brilliant league though - this is un-deniable, however the best? Im not so sure.

I saw someone claim yesterday that 6 teams were fighting it out for the EPL title this season and 11 teams are fighting for the CL places, aye Stoke City and Crystal Palace are duking it out for 4th place :smiley-laughing002: People are incredibly deluded about the league. It doesn't matter how many great players go to other leagues, they'll still go on about how fantastic it is.

People are also saying that La Liga's a two horse race again because Atletico Madrid have sold all their best players to Chelsea...even though they've already brought in replacements for them :97: Way to write off the league holders ya *...aren't sayin the same about Man City are you?

Real Madrid and Roma will battle for Abner of Coritiba.

Shakhtor run away Facundo Ferreyra linked with Palmeiras.

Corinthians looking at striker Marcelo Cirino of Atlético Paranaense. Top scorer last season, if signed will complete an incredibly successful transfers window for Corinthians.
