Can't see it unless there is eventually some kind of rule change for salary caps/transfer fees etc. It would probably need to go back to a knockout as well with only the champions of each country. As the current format makes more money, I don't see this happening any time soon.

A Barca-R Madrid quarter final will always generate more interest than Lille - Porto for example.

I think there's always a possibility, football isn't going to stay the same dominating teams for the next 100 years, that never happens, there is always shifts of power

Yes, we can. We just need more money first of all, which is hard to get.

It's possible. It's pretty unlikely, too, though.

With our current financial resources the Champions League isn't realistic. The Europa League even with our current constraints is possible.

Yes. It will happen within the next 20 years, I'm pretty confident of it. What we have right now is the foundations of what could turn out to be a brilliant team in the future.

We're already the best footballing side in the SPL and as time goes on, I can see us only getting better. We're showing great ambition by getting all of these young players in and gelling them together as a team and hopefully this group of players will all be together for a while yet.

When you think about it, we're one victory away from qualifying for the next round of the EL right now. Obviously, we're not going to win it this year (we might not even get out of the group stages), but we're at least showing that we can still compete in Europe and beat decent teams, like Rennes.

If that's the position we're in right now, we surely can only get better as the seasons pass and our players enter the peak of their careers.

Now, I'm not saying we will conquer Europe and win the Champions League any time soon, but the Europa? Worse teams than us have won it in the past.

i think the transfer policy is putting in place a n exciting new era for our club, although i do think we will lose a few players i believe because of the financial constraints we are going to see some new exciting young homegrown talent in the next few years, couple this with the maturity of some of the young players at the club just now i think we will be able to challenge for the europa league in the next five years, agree with the above think we would need to move to the epl to have any chance in the champions league

Next season? I would have said that's way too soon. We should be concentrating on regaining the league title.

Not untill the mentality of the team changes . If you look at us in europe are team is so nervy it cant even perform simple passes from the back. Are defences have let us down time and time again. Although it is not all their fault as we are club with support as big as liverpool inter arsenal chelsea if not bigger- but players of alot lesser quality. this does not defuse well - as we as a support expect to beat lots of teams with lesser support but of equal quality, our team now is so afraid of the reaction of the crowd. Look at tbe mistakes we make, Oniel had the best system in fifty years from stein and we still didnt win a euro trophy but came painfully close. Why wont we become this close again - we now have lesser expenditure and lesser quality managers.

We need to get into the EPL. The SPL just cant compete financially with any of the top European leagues and it is getting steadily worse. I am sorry to say it is extremely unlikely we will win a European trophy for many years. If we remain in Scotland our best hope is for an extremely good crop of youngsters all to come through the ranks at the 1 time and to want to stay at Celtic together and achieve something. I believe we are going in the right direction with our youth development but for me the EPL has to be the number 1 aim fo Celtic FC.
I believe it will happen sometime i just hope it is within the next 20 years so we can go from being 1 of the biggest clubs in the world to 1 of the most successful too.

    Maybe.

There is vast uncertainty in football just now, who knows where it is going to end up.
