As much as it hurts to admit it mate, but Fergiehun has been our best player so far.

Agreed, the Ned has by far been the best player for Scotland and Gordon between the sticks

i don't hate to admit it when he is wearing the scotland top im behind him but in a celtic view the only thing am worried about is how well he is linking with brown that could be an incentive for the scum to step up there intereset i * well want brown

Aye game over, hopefully we can pull off a miracle and other results go our way to qualify.

If not, if we ever get a fair group again, we should get through to the next major comp.

Tell you one thing, Brown looks a really composed player, id take him in a second.

Fair enough your * off RT, but that wasnt a pathetic attempted, we were never really outclassd (only in small spells), just individual errors cost us. Bar a few stupid long balls I thought we passed the ball around pretty well.

And we did have a go, wouldnt say we sat with 10 behind the ball.

Teale is a waste of a man.

And Hartley was gash yeh, out his depth I agree, havent been impressed with him for the tic also.

Outclessed but aquited ourself well. We would have done OK against most other European sides tonight but Italy are really good. Pains me to say it but Ferguson was by far our best player, absolutely magnificent, and could easlily have got into the Italy team he was that good. Other best performances were Kenny and also Shaun when he came on and showed flashes of what we are missing. Some good periods of possession and passing by us. The rest was all just battling. Losing no big deal. We can still do it if we keep up our form. Most teams are well below that standard and I dont think anyone is much better than us in Europe bar Italy and France.
