Only way to get into the US market would be toget Donovan, but hes just dreadful.

 

Donovan is not dreadful he probably the best player on the US squad. And his hattrick yesterday proves that. Its a stereotype to play down Donovan as sucking just because he had a bad world cup in 2005.

The guy's got skill and talent but no motivation. He doesnt want to play in Europe and therefore this is a moot point. Just like how he saids he might not play in COPA and Gold Cup this year to play with the Galaxy. Plus his wife hates Europe I forget the quote she said.

Either way Donovan is not coming here.


Adu would capture the market as Donovan would be impossible to get.

No Donovan isn't dreadful I agree and he isn't leaving the LA Galaxy thats for sure. But having said that he isn't that good either. He is inconsistent and has never ever shown that he can produce when it counts against quality opposition on a regular basis. He is a good player but nothing special.
