    This is a petiton about getting a Safe Standing Area at Celtic Park to improve the atmosphere at Celtic Park.

    A standing area would be the best thing in a while to happen to football.

    The atmosphere and attendances would greatly improve, shame it's unlikely.

    Done! Bring it on! Would love this at CP. Not sure where in the stadium but it would certainly help to imorove the atmosphere. And with the club already exploring the possibility, hopefully this will help!

    It should be all the more possible as our fans can be trusted to behave!

    I originally though 114 115 right behind the goals in the Lisbon would be the best area to have safe standing, but after sitting in the jock stein last week its clear to me that end needs an atmosphere boost. We are getting good vocal support from 111, and the surrounding areas have obviously swollen with liked minded individuals creating an ultra style support which I love, but these folk are already standing and making noise. If we could get a section of around 1000 folk in the jock stein who want to back the team vocally but maybe in a less exhausting manner than the ultras I reckon this would defo help continue the end v end singing and encourage more of the people sitting in the jock stein to join in vocally.

    They should add a tier of seating above the main stand too bring the height of the whole stadium into symmetry. and then rip out the seats in the lower tiers at opposite ends of the stadium behind each of the goals to create standing areas. sorted. now chop chop Peter...we're waiting.
