MC GEADY VS FORREST

I NEVER LIKED MC GEADY AT CELTIC, NEVER ANY END PRODUCT FROM HIM AND HE DIDNT NEARLY SCORE ENOUGH FOR US.IM DELIGHTED WE GOT ALL THAT MONEY FOR HIM BECAUSE WEE JAMES FORREST WOULD NOT BE GETTING HIS CHANCE TO SHOW HE IS A MUCH BETTER PLAYER THAN MC GEADY EVER WAS.....

 

I DISAGREE ALTHOUGH MY POINT IS HARD TO TAKE SERIOUSLY IN ALL BOLD AND CAPS LOCK

 

I think Forrest has better end product and is far better at striking the ball.

 

MCGEADY WAS NOT THE FINISHED ARTICLE... AND JAMES IS ALSO A LONG WAY FROM IT.

WHY ARE WE ALL SHOUTING!?

 

Unfair to compare directly after Forrest puts in a MOTM display.

currently aiden but wee james could easily overtake him.

Forrest is much more direct, which I think suits the SPL better. McGeady is a much better dribbler, and more agile laterally. But Forrest has some blazing pace, which goes with his direct style. They both have no weak foot. I loved McGeady and hate the stick he took on the forum but I think Forrest will be something really special and I wonder how long we can hold on to him.

 

If given the option of either player at 20 I would take Forrest. I got tOO frustrated with McGeady. A man of his talent and he killed so many of our breaks. I never really liked him at Celtic.

Mcgeady, its not even close for me.

 

McGeady without a shadow of a doubt. Aiden when he was 2 years younger than Forrest is just now gave Paulo Maldini a torrid time in Europe, played excellent against Barcelona.

Was giving a far, far better Rangers team a pasting etc. the list goes on. McGeady not even one single bit of doubt in it.

 

McGeady with no end product and killed so many of our breaks.

Fair do's picking Aiden but to say it's not even close is silly.

 

Ive said it many times, Forrest is fast approaching surpassing McGeady's current ability.

 

McGeady's better but Wee Forrest has the potential to be a lot better than him in a few years time...
Wouldnt mind having both of them on the wings though

 

Forrest has got along way to go in his progress but at least all the signs are saying he will make it on that way. Said it a while ago but he will be the next player to be sold for 10m+.

 

McGeady's a by far better player than Forrest but Forrest is young.

 

Forrest is more intelligent and a better striker of the ball, crossing, passing and shooting but McGeady was stronger and fitter at the moment id say McGeady was better but id say Forrest should be better by August next year once he has the confidence, fitness and strength that McGeady has.
