Donnie Brasco is a great movie, Pacino gives his usual spellbinding performance :50:

Goodfellas by a mile, followed by godfather 1&2, carlitos way, sopranos and boardwalk empire

It has to be Goodfellas or Donnie Brasco.

Donnie Brasco shows a grittier side to 'the life'. There aren't many good times in the film and at times it seems like their lives are shiter than your 9to5 average Joe because of all the stress they're under.

Goodfellas is like a message or warning to all us when we were 10 years old and thinking we wanted to be a gangster after watching the start. Live fast die young. Brilliant film, though.

I like The Godfather too. All three parts, infact, but it's totally different than anything else out there. I could watch Goodfellas again and again, but the Godfather only once or twice a year. That's not to say that it's any worse than Goodfellas, it's just not as fun.

Scarface is alright, but Tony Montana is a bit too much a nutter to relate to. Plus the downward spiral is depressing. It's nice, however, to see him kill that cold bald guy who wants to blow up the children.
