I have zero aims to be anything, mate.

If I upset you by pointing out how poor a player you like is you resort to posting a lot of tripe about me personally.

Ki was * today as he has been for weeks, give me your counter-argument without lowering yourself to attempting one-upsmanship.

You are so far in the minority with that opinion that in fact if you stuck a poll up 99 out of 100 people would say he was excellent today.

Its not polite to call people names.

You said that Ki wasnt "that bad today" and was "one of our best outlets". Seriously take the Ki tinted glasses off mate. And if you didnt think he was rubbish after that disgrace today then you know nothing about football.

For 70 minutes we were outplayed and outclassed by a side that was put together for a fraction of what ours cost. Where was Ki then? You suggest that we might get £15m for him!!

And you criticise other fans for being stupid.

  3. I started a thread here last year " Sell Ki " and I got crucified for it, but I was right. If we had sold him last year we would have had a good lot of money in the bank, replaced him with a better player who at least would try a leg for the club, and who knows we might have won the league last year if this blue eyed boy of Lennon was out the team.

Ki is an imposter, and he is again one of the main reasons we are going to lose the league again this year.

Wasn't referring to you - was referring to a hypothetical person who would go onto Celtic forums with the specific aim of deriding supporters. I find it sad that, while I can respect and disagree with your opinion, you claim I know nothing about football. Kind of thing I'm working with here.

And then you totally fail to read anything I've written. Ki aside, I mean where did I call anyone stupid? I have no idea what to say to you.

And Hammer, if all you've got is "don't get personal" then forget it - you consistently fail to address any points I put across.

You said Ki wasnt that bad today. Really? You honestly believe that? You cant be serious. I dont claim you know nothing about footbal, but if you seriously thought that Ki wasnt that bad and came onto a game in the second half, then you really need to question yourself. And he wasnt the only offender. Defence was *, midfield was * and forwards were *. Only Forrest and Stokes got pass marks for the last 20 minutes or so.

Ki contributed sfa today, other than a couple of crosses into the box. For £8m or £15m or whatever, dont you think he should be doing a little more? And this isnt just today. He has been hiding for a few games now.

And I've read your posts stating your blind faith for Ki.

Well my faith is in the club. No player is bigger than it, and at the moment I have no favourites. Its a new line in the sand as far as Im concerned and they all need to improve, or get shipped out. Ki, Kayal, Hooper and anyone else who wants to play elsewhere.

A good player but not top notch imo, as long as we cash in.

I think we've established that you disagree with my view that Ki had a decent game overall today. Probably the following alerted me to that:

strangely, followed by in the next post:

As I've stated numerous times - we've established that we disagree. I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve here.

Obviously not the bit where I explain that £15m was a frivilous estimate by some nutter, NOT ME, while I qualified that statement by saying "who knows, maybe one day..." I mean seriously Ken, keep up.

Ki was * today, there's really no two ways about it.

Not the worst however, that would go to Kayal followed by Hooper.

Agreed not Ki's finest moment but I don't think his effort can be questioned unlike the display from Hooper & Kayal.

Good that you took that out of context. The full sentence was:

"I dont claim you know nothing about footbal, but if you seriously thought that Ki wasnt that bad and came onto a game in the second half, then you really need to question yourself" - this is pretty much saying the same as you know nothing mate. Sorry you didnt get it. You should have read my post.

But you believe he is worth £15m though, right? and you thought he had a good game today as well didnt you?

And dont get personal and try and win the argument that way. Stick to the point.

What argument? What are you arguing with me about? I've already said that I would agree to disagree (4th time I've said this?) And the quote was completely in context.. "I'm not saying you know nothing about football BUT if you think Ki played alright you know nothing about football".

Where did I "get personal" with you? The keep up bit? The bit where I've said you've repeatedly failed to read my posts? This conversation is over!

I thought Ki did alright at 2nd half. Lennon let him push forward more, and Ledley and Waynyama was the two volantes as it seemed

Obviously it worked. Ki drifted inside from the right, which created space for stokes to score from distance.

Now, Ki contributed to 2 of the goals that Celtic scored, and that's what mmmikey saw.

It's really funny to see someone like Kemo is SO ACTIVE in this thread while he DELIBERATELY disappear in Kayal's thread.

I'm not a Celtic supporter, but I respect Celtic. I have been watching Celtic matches since Ki's debut against Fallkirk.

I have never missed a single match since then. I've been watching celtic matches even if Ki wasn't playing because I was attracted to Celtic. I think you guys(fans) are brilliant! But when I see someone like Kemo and Hammer, who prefers a player over a player in any circumstances, it's really hard to get over my anger.

It looks as if someone is WAITING to post something bad about him. Waiting him to slip. That's what I am feeling, and it's the same individuals on and on, and this tells something.

Excuse me Kemo but really? really? You think Ki played so * that you had to come to this thread and slate him? He did what he did all the time in every single game he played for Celtic. He kept the ball well and sprayed passes to the midfield and forwards. Whether he is 8 or 15 million pound player is irrelevant. He did what he was brought in to do especially in the second half. Now explain to me how Ki was so * yesterday when Hooper couldnt give a * all throughout the game and couldnt stick a ball into the net. And when Ki's midfield partner clearly was trying harder then anyone else to get himself sentoff.

How the heck can a creative midfielder shine and play well when his main stiker cant give a * and his supposedly 'battling' midfield partner cant do jack ****?

So in context, Ki rifling in a perfect corner to set up our corner is not worth a mention and Ki crossing in a pinpoint free kick to assist a goal is all blatently overlooked but Ki not being able to shine because our defence cant defend and our forwards cant score and his midfielder cant play football equals in Ki being *?
Get a grip Kemo. Personally ive always respected and considered your on-to point arguments and view points but at the moment i think you are just showing how clearly you do not rate a particular player. But i guess recommendations doesnt have to mean jack **** to you.

Ki had a bad game but he has been one of our best players this year, some people just wont cut him any slack. I hope we dont lose him in the summer

Im more than happy to admit I am not a fan of Ki. He had a great end to last season, and started well this season. But he has been rubbish the last 3/4 games. He hides in matches and doesnt get involved when things are going wrong.

Your post would suggest that it was Ki who turned the game around yesterday when in fact it was down solely to James Forrest rolling his sleeves up and Stokes taking his chances. Up till then NO-ONE did anything in the match and we were heading for a defeat. He it too inconsistent with his performances and as with most of the other players in the squad, if he wants to go, let him and get better in.

And this was my post on Kayals performance yesterday which was shameful. I dont have favourites at my club at the moment. They all have to play for the jersey as far as I am concerned. And the reason I post on Ki is because he polarises fans and there is a lot of interest in him. Trust me, I want him to do well, but please dont come on and butter up a poor performance yesterday by suggesting he contributed to two goals and played better than he actually did. He was poor. The whole team was poor. Ki is highlighted because we have fans/ media etc who keep saying how great he is, how he is worth £8m / £15m!! etc, yet we were playing a side that were put together on a fraction of what his transfer fee was yesterday and they ran rings around him, and our side. If he cant perform against Killie, or Hearts or St Johnstone then surely he must have questions asked of him? Or is it the case that when we win it is down to Ki and when we lose its down to the other players?

"I love Kayal and think he is a terrific player, however, I cant defend him today. I knew something was askew when he wasnt captain. So it turned out. He seemed to play at 50% and was continually pointing and barking at others.

Shocking performance. I imagine we havent heard the last of this, especially with him getting hooked at half time.

If this is his attitude then there is no place for him at our club.

    Very disappointed."

This from the man, that only 2 months ago was saying:

    -----

Have been looking back through threads to see where this ridiculous £15m figure came from. No Ki "fans" have actually used that figure in *this* thread - the person who brung that up was.... Hammer :97:

Looking back through the old Ki thread, funnily enough the person quoting this £15m sum is.... Hammer :97:

There is a third KI thread and the only person in that quoting £15m is.... Hammer :97:

Only ONE enthusiastic optimist (in the big Ki thread) actually suggested that that was a fair sum, which isn't bad for 3 threads combining over 50,000 views.

I find it strange that it's the "haters" who keep bringing up that figure. It's like when some alco compared Ki to Moravcik. Even Ki's biggest fans (like me!) appreciate that the two players are completely different in every way.

Coming on here, picking up on 2 ludicrous throw-away comments from nutters and using that as a beating stick against people who actually rate KI. It's pathetic. The more modest sum of £10m ish wasn't even Ki's fans who came up with that! It was the papers!!!

For the rest of us in reality, I'm sure we'd like to focus on the areas of the team that are ACTUALLY at fault - i.e. CB's, ST's not scoring enough, Commons fall from grace, Kayal's embarassing behaviour etc
