Best team Celtic have ever beaten?

In my lifetime it's the 1-0 game against Barca at Parkhead. No doubt.

 

23 votes for a barca team who finished 6th the season before hence why they were in the uefa cup in the 1st place, nowhere near the best on that list.
Dont know about the older teams but out of the recent few it would be between Ac and man utd.

 

I picked them aswell.

They had the best team too imo

Neeskens, Suurbier, Haan, Muhren, Cruyff, Swart and Keizer were all top drawer Europe-wide known players even a few known around the world back then. Although the Juventus team would push them all the way with Zoff, Cabrini, Scirea, Gentile and Tardelli probably the best Club and International defensive team of all time.

This. Came immediately to mind when the question was posed.

Since it's not an option, I went with Inter who were one of the most admired teams of the decade and had one of the greatest coaches of all time.

 

i chose real madrid before i looked at the squads. i thought you meant the di stefano testimonial game in '67

 

I voted for AC Milan European Champions

 

Ac Milan they were champions of Europe.I am sure the Madrid and inter ones were massive scalps but they were well before my time

 

I voted the Leeds team of 1970,

But that Real Madrid team of 1980 comes very close,

 

Leeds were a very good & hard side.
