Anyone else think he's a great addition to the Sky Sports team?

Didn't think he'd suit the role but he's got excellent insight and knowledge of the modern game, more so than Andy Gray.

He looks a little nervous at times but he's getting better.

Don't think he's better than Andy Gray or more knowledgeable on modern football though.

 

i think jamie redknapp would have been better at doing the mnf than gary

Seemed a bit unsure at first but he is getting better, provides a good insight mainly because he has just retired which helps

 

I think he's great. He pointed out more tactical stuff I wasn't aware of then any other pundit out there already.

Wasn't really a fan of Andy Gray's Last Word stuff. Thought he was better suited at being the Co-Commentator.

 

Both are better than redknapp, i think he just reads the backpage of the dailystar and thinks 'right il go with that'.

 

Can't stand him personally but now I'm starting to respect his opinions. It's annoying me how likeable he is.

 

Don't mind him at all, great football knowledge.

Think he is a very good pundit. A lot better than Andy "Stoke could beat Barcelona" Gray.

 

I'm not sure if it is him i have a problem with, or if it's that pathetic goatee attempt of his.

 

I think he's been great so far. I'll be interested to see him when United Liverpool comes around though...

Still no match on Souness, the best pundit by a million miles.

 

souness is good tbf, hun or not.

 

I think hes quality as a pundit, gives an honest opinion and i have even heard him talk good of Liverpool which surprised me haha! Although he was a bit of a c*nt as a player his analysis of games is top drawer. He knows his stuff and i enjoy listening to him. I would agree about Souness aswell, hes a great pundit.

I hate motd pundits, Lawro and Hansen especially!

 

I dont like him as a person....but will always be grateful to him for signing a catholic for them and starting the thaw......(yes, it used to be worse!)
(even if it was a stab by Johnston to us)

anyone else think that gary neville is a joke on sky sports.. surely times cant be that bad for sky they have to resort to hiring gary neville.what is all your opinions on him been a sky sports presenter

 

He is a * of a lot better than I thought he would be, and that's coming from someone who hated him as a player.
