20+ grand a week thats mulgrew off to Sheffield Celtic then, maybe Desmond has a cunning plan on getting us into the EPL after all, how many ex celts play for them now

3 though Charlie would make it 4. McGeady has returned to Everton he was only a loan.

I agree if he's demanding too much then it's time to say goodbye, he is injury prone sadly now so he can't demand a lot

 

Don't think that demand has came from him, it'll have came from Sheffield Wednesdays apparent offer. Last I heard the hold up was something to do with him wanting 3 years and the club wanting 2.

 

He can eff off. He's missed too much of pre season now, he's been injury prone these last two years and well he's pish. Pish CB, LB, CM, LM, CDM. Pish in all positions. Before anyone mentions his POTY season at CB he won that because of his goals from that position not his defensive ability.

We've got enough midfielders, enough LBs and enough CBs once players come back fit (Plus we'll be signing another CB within a week).

Times up for him time to move on. I'll be sick if this guy gets another contract as it'll be one of the most undeserved contracts we've ever handed out.

If hes demanding £20k a week I would punt him. Sadly he isn't worth that.

 

You can't keep sitting on the fence, you need to decide one way or the other, if you think he should get another contract!!!

I would give him a new contract. I like Charlie and think he's a good player, there are players we should be getting rid of.. He's not 1 of them. How Efe Ambrose can start in a champions league qualifier and Charlie can't get a good contract is a joke.

 

Mate Mulgrew got ripped by Kris Doolan and Kris Boyd towards the end of last season, he's also been injured for two years more or less. I've got tbh I find your point regarding Mulgrew starting CL Qualifiers laughable. You forgetting Legia away where he gave away TWO penalties in one game and also played a massive hand in each goal conceded and Efe's red card over there, practically cost us that tie himself?

Ask yourself this, we all know Lenny was a massive fan of Mulgrew, but why did he never get a game ahead of Efe at CB alongside Kelvin Wilson/Van Dijk in Lenny's last two seasons as manager of us there?

 

I'm not sure how people are getting from some website claiming Sheffield Wednesday are offering him 20k a week to Mulgrew demanding 20k a week from us.
