I went to the game tonight, didn't want to pay 28quid for a ticket though...met some Italians out the ground selling tickets at their end for a tenner, but I managed to negotiate it down to a fiver :> Had to sit in the away end, but the Udinese fans were friendly (some a bit mental) but they were speaking to me and my girlfriend and seemed impressed with the atmosphere

Thought the Green Brigade were brilliant tonight (especially when shouting over to the Jock Stein stand). Celtic played well too and I thought their keeper made some brilliant saves. All in all, quite happy with the night and performance :)

It was a decent performance and if it wasn't for that lad diving then we would have got the three points.

People making a big deal out of the young Udinese side, but take a look at our side and you'll find it's a pretty young team also.

I thought we played well in the first half and we found a lot of space on the wings due to them playing three centre backs. They changed their system in the second half and it seemed to help them, we certainly didn't play aswell in the second half as we did in the first half.

I liked to look of big Wanyama, man of the match for me.

Got to say Lennon had his tactics spot on tonight. Perfect balance of attack and defence. I'd actually go as far to say that this might become our strongest lineup (in the absence of Izzy)

Bangura brought a much needed injection of pace up front, him and Forrest hitting teams on the counter could be invaluable this season.

Thought Wanyama was brilliant, absolutely solid. Although Maj did alright tonight there has got to be a shout for him starting alongside Mulgrew at CB. Though as a defensive mid he was great.

Felt like it was almost a 3-4-3 at times, which i loved. Maj-Mulgrew-Wan at the back with our fullbacks almost in midfield and Forrest a striker. Really liked the flow of the team and if we had been more used to that formation in big games (and their keepr not been world class) it could have been a demolition.

Making progress and this group is wide open.

Gutted we didn't get the 3 points but overall pleased with the amount of effort the Bhoys put in.

Like most I was surprised to see Bangura get a start and to be honest the boy impressed with his pace, skill and work rate. First time I've had to get a look at Wanyama also and thought he did very well. Very quick and never stopped running from 1st minute 'till last. Be interesting to see if he and Mulgrew become the CB pairing.

Thought we lost the balance a lot when Ledley had to go off and sat back too deep at times. Hope Joe is fit for Sunday and it wasn't anything serious. Was it just me seeing things or was young Forrest puking his guts up?

mixed thoughts on this. We played really well but that was more like Dundee United than Udinese so I am not getting carried away. Shocking pen decision at the end robbed us although we did decline in the 2nd half.

Thought everyone played well and there were a number of plus points. Maj played like his CV suggests he was once capable of playing. Of the new players, I thought the young RB was good. Wagamama played really well in a DM role. Looks like a DM specialist. Bangura was a mix of huge energy and some good stuff but with quite a few moments of really bad technique. He would be a good player or he could be totally rubbish. Jury is out. Put in a huge shift though.

No we're just getting with the times. We are no longer the team we were 5 years ago. And even then we beat Milan on an error by the keeper in like the final minute. And we drew with them tonight because of a * decision by the referee. We were very unlucky not to score more than one tonight.

You say "we drew with Udinese reserves" Which is not true, the team that are in the Europa league are Udinese, not Udinese reserves. Also as hihat has said, we deserved to win tonight. Their keeper kept it from being an embarrassment for them, he made 4 unbelievable saves that kept them in the match. Then they score a penalty with 3 minutes to go, which came from a blatant dive by their player. So, if we had been lucky, we would have won 4-0, if we had been unlucky V Milan, we would have drawn 0-0.

Zaluka - 7 : Played well, if a bit rusty at times. Should probably start next game.

Matthews - 7 : Again, played reasonably well, considering his age was quite assured in most things he done.

Maj - 6 : Won headers better than usual and generally played a noticeably more composed than has been his customary game so far this season.

Mulgrew - 8 : Growing into a cracking centre-half. Needs to stay in this position unless extenuating circumstances mean a move elsewhere.

Ledley - 6 : Done a shift at left-back before being removed at half time due to injury. Can tell it's not a natural position for him but he done well.

Wanyama - 6/7 : A bit rusty now and again, which is to be expected given his lack of playing time, but impressed by his power.

Kayal - 6 : Played fine in first half, if a bit too aggressive. Went virtually missing in the second by comparison

Ki - 7 : Worked well especially in the first half. Scored penalty and tested keeper.

Forrest - 8 : Good shift before being subbed. Drifted infield a bit too much imo. Far more effective tonight when he was properly out wide, or cutting in from wide positions with the ball, where he beat players almost constantly.

Bangura - 7 : Good running for majority of game. Looked eager to impress if nothing else. Looked shattered before the last 10.

Hooper - 8 : Put in a shift, tried his best to hold up ball and attempted link up play quite well. Won penalty and made runs. Can't be blamed for a shocker of a decision for the Udinese penalty.

Subs: M. Wilson - 6 : came on at half time and done well enough, couple of good forward balls. Got positioning all wrong for one specific Udinese chance which Zaluska saved.
Samaras - 5 : One decent run; of which a cut back, not a very good one as it was well behind Hoopers run, was salvaged by a cracking Ki shot from the edge of the box. Otherwise his usual self - wasteful.

Just my opinion lads... disagree if you's must I'm off to bed :50:

Was at the game tonight. Never thought it was a penalty then...having seen the replay it definitely wasn't. Honest to *, when are we going to get a decison of ANY sort in our favour in ANY competion. It's crazy how much bad luck we have.
