Common theme to our losses at the end of last season and beginning of this season: no Joe.

I think he provides a lot of what the midfield lacks when he isn't in. Just a thought.

He is vital. Does all the work that nobody really notices, unless you are at the game. Never stops working, and very rarley gives the ball away. Started popping up with the goals aswell, he is the first name on my teamsheet. Very underated player.

Easily one of our most important players, he's part of our best midfield partnership (being him and Kayal), and he is absolutely vital to the way in which our midfield works.

a few of mates seem to have same opinion as u,i just think he goes missing to often in midfield and just dosnt do enough for me,but i suppose the stats dont lie when hes in team we seem to be a bit better and he gives the defence a dig out

when sammy scored the wonder goals at scumbox....ledley played a blinder of a long ball to him.....he,s a great passer of the ball...rarely loses possesion.....cant see why a half fit brown ..was playing in his place ..although brown had one of his better games...keyal should sit next to ledley ..with keyal being captain ,..he,s the only one i seen shouting at his defence on sunday....ledley would be a first pick along with keyal for me ...leave the winging to wingers i.e ...forrest,commons...

Vital and it was madness not to play him at Ibrox. the only thing I thought Lennon got wrong, Ledley in midfield, Mulgrew at the back and Loovens at another Club.

He is the most important player for ball retention and stabilising the defence as he covers them very well.

Doesn't make sense. Is that supposed to be an insult or a compliment?

Thats exactly what I think too. We line up without him and then after the game if it goes * up hounestly you ask how did that happen and you relize alot of the time that * wouldnt of happened with Joe in thier.

Should be one of the first names on the team sheet. Goes about his game without any fuss and is very under rated.

Cracking piece of bussiness to get him for nothing ahead of EPL teams.

a compliment i mean when he plays he does the dirty , hard work that is hardly noticed but when he isn't playing you notice as there is noone in the midfield that does the same job

he reminds me of lambert ..with balls going forward a bit more....everyone used to say that about lambert dissapearing...but a lot of their game is marking and snuffing out opponents attacks ...the sky-cam that used to follow individuals used to pick up things like this a lot more.....perfect foil for keyal......lennon was the same looked slow but always managed to cover the ground......because they have football brains...but unfortunatley in lennys case only when playing....

On Sunday, him not being in the team actually showed how much we need him in the team. Missed him badly..should be one of the first names on the team sheet. Would have him in before Ki anyday.

Himself and Kayal should be first on the team sheet, was well * off he wasn't playing on Sunday. The 2 of them are the engine in the team, got to stop changing team around so much.
