Also will he be as good as? Or better than the mighty petrov?

Good player but will be nowhere near the level of Petrov imo

Not as good as a box-to-box player as Stan was. He was the ultimate at that. Ki is far more technical. All I know is he won't be here in a year

Suppose he has still a lot of time to develop. He will have to put in a huge amount of work to be as good as Petrov although he is capable of it. Hopefully but I don't think he has the same attacking drive as Petrov. Something he will need to work on even though he has been among the goals lately

Rather than Petrov, I actually think that a better comparison for Ki might well be with Lubo Moravcik. Many wonder what it would have been like to have had Moravcik 10 years earlier than when he came. From what I've seen, watching Ki now is what I imagine Lubo was around the same age, and IMO, certainly can see him develop his game in the Moravcik mould.

I think that Ki will become a better player than Petrov and will probably go on to play for a top European or EPL side. I just hope that we get another couple of seasons from him first, but it is unlikely.

Still can't see where all this lavish praise comes from personally.

He will never provide the level of goal threat Petrov did for Celtic imo.

Agree there's a bandwagon gathering here same with Hooper even if they play poorly there still some peoples m.o.m , Petrov is/was a far more influential player than Ki is imo

stan wasn't up to much at first because barnes played him at right wing back, he was superb in MON's first season.

ki's a different sort of MF, potentially brilliant player, amazing technique.

A visual evidence that this is Kim Shinwook's world, and the rest of you are just living in it.

Although this fits more into the Players' Suggestion topic, I have to say Ki would be picking up many an assist from set pieces if we had this beast as the main CF. This is what Samaras should be doing with his height, but isn't.

Nah Petrov was a more mobile, attacking midfielder. He did the * you wish Scott Brown would do.
