I hate the *, but to be fair to them, they do have a few genuine world class players. Drogba, Cole and Mata being the standouts.

I'm sure I heard Martin Tyler say more than once during the game that Drogba now has 9 goals in 9 cup finals for Chelsea. That is outstanding. The very definition of a big game player.

 

Robben and Gomez were pretty flat last night. If Bayern took their chances, and they had some great chances, Chelsea's anti-football would of availed them no more than the water pumps availed the Titanic. Bayern only have themselves to blame.

 

Also have to admit Chelsea were playing football in extra time, first time they looked like they were wanting to score all game.

I'm so * glad that we will never have to live with what the Chelsea fans will. That was the worst CL Final for the neutral all because of Chelsea. How on earth they can look back and be proud of the way they won is beyond me.

 

I agree on the 'anti-football' * suffocating the game but then I realized it's to be expected with Italian managers. Also I have a slight feeling if it was Bayern-Barca then Bayern would have been the ones parking the bus.

Gutted Chelsea won it, to have their name near that cup with us sucks big time. Would rather Arsenal won it first for the London clubs.

Disgusting to watch anti football win again because chelsea really didn't deserve anything. I agree Bayern missed a few good chances but trying to break a defence that consists of the full team is just too much. The fact that they can now say they are amongst Europe's finest is a joke because, Plain and simple you don't beat Bayern or Barcelona that easy by playing proper football.

Even Boateng had to ask them to try and play football which they didn't, it's a sad day when players have to ask other teams to actually try and play an attacking game.

I texted my brother during the second half and told him that if Chelsea won this, after playing like that, it would be one of the biggest tragedies in football ever. I can't believe they can now call themselves Champions of Europe after that.

They obviously took a leaf out of the huns run to the Europa League final;
Put 11 men behind the ball and cling on by your fingernails for more or less the full match and pray for a draw and penalties, win on penalties and then act like you're world beaters.

How the * can they be called winners when trying so hard NOT to win for so long?
