  5. We pulled the plug and used "Visa issues" as an excuse.

I reckon Lennon and the board had concrete interest in both, they knew we needed another striker so lined up both in case one fell through. It didn't so the Baba deal was pulled and the Bangura deal was finalised.

When have Celtic ever went out and spent around £6m on two strikers in the space of three days?

That just doesn't happen. Baba was plan B.

  10. Just searched "Baba Diawara Celtic" then results in last 24 hours. A few articles came up. Can't translate them on my phone anyone be able to do this then post on thread?.

  11. The Scots were close to signing striker Baba Diawara in the Maritime closed for the past 3.5 million euros, but a difficulty in meeting deadlines eventually abort the transfer. This deal was reportedly postponed to January, but Benfica seem willing to meddle in these negotiations and ensure that the Senegalese is already one of the best markers of the Premier League. Cardozo has been below its usual level, Saviola will leave in January and Nelson Oliveira and Rodrigo did not seem to have options for owners. With more than likely out of Javier Saviola, becomes a priority to discover an advanced quality and cheap (Luís Filipe Vieira admitted that more than 6 million is impossible for the coffers of Light) that can fight for a place with Rodrigo and Cardozo. This is advanced Baba ...

Advanced: The End-of-launch of the Senegalese Ferry is a fast player, explosive movements and achieves good breakthrough, especially the ease with which makes goals (as in 2008/09 was the 3rd top scorer in the league). In Lisbon, it is expected that there is a new Makukula ...

  12. I've read that a few places as well mate. Doesn't make it true of course.

theres a bit in the times saying he would jump at the chance of joining celtic in January if the opportunity arose.

  13. * off benfica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Papa Babacar Diawara, or just Baba, came to the wood with only 19 and has entered the history of the Sea. The two goals scored in their last game against the Academic earned him a spot on the podium of the gunners of the island group in the first step.

The advanced 23 years - that is about to leave for the next winter in Scottish football - already equaled the 35 goals from Gaucho, who defended the green rubles between 2001 and 2004, now just ahead of Canada Alex Bunbury and Brazilian Edmilson, although considerable distance.
