1 in 3 record is pretty decent in the Portuguese League for a team that loses more often than they win.

And it was 2009 Hearts were linked with him.

Gaga for Baba: Lennon to splash £3m on striker as Celtic eye last-minute splurge

Celtic are pursuing a £3million-plus deal for Senegalese striker Baba Diawara — as the Parkhead side close in on a possible three new signings before the transfer deadline.
Manager Neil Lennon watched the Maritimo forward score a last-minute winner in a 3-2 triumph over struggling Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon on Sunday.
And Maritimo president Carlos Perreira claimed that an agreement was in place with Celtic for the sale of his star striker.

Switch: Baba Diawara is closing in on a move to the SPL with Celtic
‘I am happy with what has been agreed but I will not discuss any finances,’ said Perreira.
Parkhead sources insisted, however, that there was still work to be done before the transfer could be tied up. It’s understood Diawara was in Portugal, awaiting the green light to travel to Glasgow to finalise personal terms and complete a medical.
Standing 6ft 1in tall, the 23-year-old has been on the Parkhead radar for some time — and has attracted significant interest from clubs across Europe after scoring 35 goals in three years for the Madeira-based outfit.
The Scottish Cup holders also remain in talks over AIK Stockholm striker Mohamed Bangura after the Sierra Leone international came highly recommended by Henrik Larsson.

    Wanted: Mohamed Bangura
Football Development Manager John Park watched Bangura — also wanted by Blackburn Rovers and a Gulf State club — in action on Sunday while Lennon was in Portugal.
Sportsmail understands Celtic could sign both strikers while pursuing a left-back on loan, too.
The news of two potential attacking additions will raise speculation over the future of Georgios Samaras and the Greek international was linked with a move to Sunderland.
In terms of the financial outlay, it also sparks questions about whether Celtic will be tempted to sell Ki Sung Yueng.
Blackburn and two unnamed Russian clubs have been linked with £7million offers for Ki, who is back in his homeland preparing for South Korea’s fixtures against Lebanon and Kuwait.
The 22-year-old admitted he was aware of mounting interest in his services but that he did not expect to be leaving Celtic.
First-team coach Alan Thompson has already expressed hope that any formal bids for Ki will be rebuffed.

In the market: Celtic boss Neil Lennon looks set to be busy this week
‘I know about the various offers, but the transfer market closes in a few days,’ said Ki. ‘There is no point in me thinking about a transfer now. And there has been nothing formal, as far as I know.
‘What’s important is that our World Cup campaign begins this week and I don’t want to lose focus on that.’
Celtic’s financial position could also be improved if they are reinstated to the Europa League. UEFA are set to rule on whether Sion should be kicked out of the tournament for fielding ineligible players, which could mean Celtic banking a £4m bounty from a place in the group stage.

I have no idea but assuming there is any truth that 2 will leave tomorrow, we may be able to afford to bring 2 or 3 players in.
