Maybe Lenny is playing Big Dan to put him in the shop window ?.
I don't think we need to sign another centre back as Loovens and Mulgrew are competent, and Rogne and O'Dea as back up. It's a left back, hopefully Dixon secured, and a striker and we are sealed.

Didn't catch them game today, cause of work. Delighted Hooper grabbed the goals today, obviously would have been happy with anyone hitting the net but more so him, he's been getting some stick of late. :38: As for Big Dan, no surprise to hear he had a bit of a nightmare once again. Was surprised he even started to be honest. Mulgrew & K Wilson in central defence every time for me. Maj is done.

    brilliant start and great pressing.
a bit miffed that saint mirren had so much of the ball and a good few chances.
strikers seemed isolated for a lot of the game and forrest was quiet but I thought ki brown and kayal were strong today.

all and all a good win after an awful week . that bench was frighteningly strong

i thought after the first 20 minutes we wernt that great. we sat a bit 2 deep probably frightened of hasslebainks pace and with big maj in at the back i can see why. i think we could have moved a few yards further up the park and st mirren wouldnt have had as much posetion. saying all that tho stokes goal should have stood and we had enough chances to score a few more. this next few days is gona be important we need a new cb, lb and 1 or 2 strikers. get it sorted lawell.

O'Dea is on loan for the season i think.

Today wasn't too bad, we could have had a few more with
a bit of composure/luck & the wrongly chalked off Stokes one.

Having said that it might do maj a favour to rest him a while.

St. Mirren had good possession but rarely threatened to do much with it, celtic had a good 4/5 clear cut chances, with Ki and i think Forrest. Average performance but a good result.

Not the greatest performance and not a great example of what the the team are capable of, but a well deserved three points.

I wouldn't call it outclassed. We won the match, for a kick off. We had more clear cut chances than they had. They played some good stuff, but lacked in the final third. I don't remember them actually threatening Forster though.

Just saw the highlights on sportscene.

It looked like we have a lot of chances and could've scored about 5 goals. And what the * was gollum all about for Stokes' goal? :56: There wasn't a foul or nothing

Stokes' goal was perfectly fine. Just Gollum being his usual competent self :50:

I hope and pray that next month Lenny lets Hooper and Stokes run at that * defence of Rangers at Ibrox. If Samaras gets the start we'll be lucky to leave with the draw.
