nonsense. this isn't football manager mate. lennon is liked and respected by the fans- because he's honest and tells it like it is and doesn't bull-*. if he stops that, i believe he will lose respect.

 

And slating the players like that in public he could well loose the respect of them it could go either way.

 

I don't really see how your point is valid there, theres always pressure in a derby match and we won that 2-1 after that. After the ross county game it wasn't about winning the league, it was about the teams performace improving drastically on what it already was, I would say thats pressure on the team to win wouldn't you?

Alex Ferguson does and has publicy slated his teams for there performances. After winning the cup with Aberdeen he slated the whole team with the exception of two players.

no he won't. as i said, this isn't football manager. if the players don't know that the performance was below standard today then they shouldn't be at the club, they'll know- and understand the manager is just telling it the way it is.

If Lennon had called out an individual player in public then yes I would say it is not a good idea. But he was getting after the team in general and especially midfielders and attackers so I have no problem especially given you know he probably had plenty to say in the dressing room after the final whistle. Not like he went behind anyones back.

 

Ffs those same players cheated us with that display and ur worried about their feelings !! The lack of pride passion heart skill was never more apparent than after that performance , we may have a better squad than the huns but the sad truth is they are fighting for every pt and thats the difference between winners and also rans , a few years ago we would have found a way to get something from that game be it through sheer will or a bit o magic from a quality player right now we have neither imo !!

hes right to blame the front six,at home to st johnstone and not scoring,not just that but the effort they put in really reminded me of watching the inverness game last year!!

i still believe we have the best squad in the spl and we will win the league,lenny deserves it,not sure about the players but we as fans deserve it too and ill follow them to the end of the year regardless
