if we get knocked out at the first hurdle in Europe again then it's never going to happen under this stewardship. It will only intensify the pressure to win the league. Failure to do that, then it's bye bye.

    Good grief!

Can't believe some of the stuff I read at times!

Sion at home was disappointing and St Johnstone was more bad luck than anything - after all, had we scored the penalty and hit the net twice instead od the post then this thread wouldn't exist.

As horseshoe stated, massive kneejerk reaction.

Anyone who knows anything about football knows that in order to win and then dominate you need stability. Not change.

Mowbray was a disaster, Lennon is far from that.

Lenny won't sleep at night with what's going on and his honesty is refreshing.

Also from his post match press conference it's obvious that he's thinking about binning some players, unless they can show they're worthy of being here.

What more do you want from a manager.

Also, is it better to get the crappy performances & results early in the season and then go on a run?

Not to mention, we are missing our 3 best players from last season in Izzy, Kayal & Hooper. Injuries have not been kind already this season and we do not have our troubles to seek in that area.

We need reinforcements and clearly the gaffer is still working on them - both in the ST dept and also at LB as well and it's good to see.

Hopefully we can have Kayal & Hooper back very soon and also a new ST and LB signed quickly enough - although I would still love to see us signing 2 new STs.

Again, Santa Cruz or Bellamy - even on a season long loan and ALF will do in that dept and Bridge in at LB for 6 months.

With those signings and a settled and preferred CB pairing of Wilson & Mulgrew and we'll be fine.

We still have the best DF in the country and have improved on this during the summer, we still have the best MF in the country and also the most potent strikeforce as well.

We just need to get everyone fit and get it all working again!

The sooner this happens the better and threads like this will be a thing of the past!

(and no mods, not trolling here just having a kneejerk reaction to the thread)

Only one Neil Lennon - and in him we trust!

Lennon's squad needs to dictate this game. I agree this is a must win. The game on Sunday was just terrible luck and let's face it, we played poor at home against Sion. Lennon knows what his squad has to do and I have full confidence that every player in the dressing room doesn't want to leave European competition early.

I've just noticed this thread, and not read all of it, but if you mean do the honourable thing as in resign then you are an idiot who doesn't deserve to call themselves a Celtic fan.

If he doesn't win the league this season, then he should certainly go. I can forgive if we go out of Europe. But if he let's those animals get 4 in a row, :bbpd:

Agreed:50: Losing against Sion is not bad enough for him to leave.

We would be in crisis if he left, people need to get a grip.

We wouldn't have the money to finance a new manager.

No Europe doesnt really matter. It would be worrying and add to a number of worrying aspects about the side and the manager that have cropped up recently but it wouldnt be a sacking matter nor should he resign. However, if we start playing like we did pre-Xmas last season, I think he might have to consider his position around the window

One bad result, in a game we dominated, when we had four of our best player's injured.

This thread is a complete joke.
