Who would you make captain instead of Brown?

I only included players that are realistic first team players and who will feature most of the season.

But by all means, if you vote "other" do explain why.

I picked Mark Wilson, been there for years, great player, good example to follow. Simple as. Might be wrong mind....

Why would you want to make anybody apart fae Broon captain?

Jeez thats a hard yin ..... just goes to show the distinct lack of leadership that we have. I would need to agree with you on Mark Wilson but to be honest would rather have Broony than him !! As I said thats the problem we have

I would bring in a big strong athletic CH and make him Captain. I do believe Broony is right proud to wear the band and would destroy him if he lost it to someone else.

 

Has Lenny taken it off Brown

 

Because many of us are of the opinion that he's not really a good enough player for the starting lineup, or that his hardman routine of constant squaring up to people like a total ned isn't befitting a Celtic captain?

Ledley or Kayal, they lead by example.

i'd stick wi' Broony personally he was good against Utd on saturday although i do agree he had a second half shocker against sion his passing was appalling but i felt during the Dons game we missed him and his urgency all through the game.
Lenny needs to stick with 4-4-2 and stop with Kris up on the right he is * there

 

Joe Ledley,he's been here a year now,always in the thick of it and pretty much a regular.

 

i would say Dan, as i have seen him usher his backs at times into place not saying he cant be dropped would let him know that, but would allow him to express himself at the team and there performance, and any that would spit the dummy out, would have 4 weeks wages deducted rising to 10 weeks make them sign agreement, simple as too many cooks spoil the broth

Why? Because anybody apart fae Broon would be better than Broon.

In all honesty, it doesn't really bother me much. Just a formality that has very little effect on how we perform as a team. Every player has a mouth & can motivate others where needed in games.

Broony obviously wants it more than anybody else, so let him have it.
Can't say we have any stand out leaders, apart from maybe big Maj.

 

Well for a start I wouldn't pick Beram or Emilio - needs to someone with a confident command of English.

Stokesy doesn't have nearly the discipline ot gravitas to command respect across the board.

For me, the choice boils down to two:

Big Maj - Good English, very experienced, strong personality, comfortable with shouting at other folk on the park
Mark Wilson - Good English, been at the club for ages, composed, a Celtic lad

Either of those two would be a 1000% improvement on Clownshoes.

 

What about Ledley? He speaks English..without a doubt should be in our first team..works his * off and I think he might of captained Cardiff a few times. Also wears his heart on his sleeve.
