    Well spotted. :56:

Forster had a good season for us and I trust him a lot more than Zaluska. Neil does as well. Actually we had Neil as manager last season and we didnt win the league either. But... he rates FF so that is good enough for me.

You've admitted that your opinion of Sandomierski has been made by listening to information from friends who may or may not have seen him play.

My opinion, that Forster is a more astute Keeper to have at the club than Boruc was when we sold him, is simply made from the fact that Forster holds the record for clean sheets in the league and Boruc was utter mince his last two seasons at the club. Remember his howlers at Hibs?

I would like to agree with you but we'll see at the end of the season and i hope i'm wrong. As Hammy loves pointing out ( in a different argument not related to Lennon), the holiday will be over, much as we all want to do Lennon to do well, if he doesn't win the league this year, thanks for the memories but:bbpd:
I feel much the same about Trapattoni for Ireland btw.

Agree totally. Neil has to win the league this season or I think he will go. I also think that Lawell should walk as well. A chief executive that has been in charge through a spell where we have failed to win the title while up against a R*****s side who have struggled on and off the park.

If FF does as well as he did last season, then I dont think we can ask for more. Other than the first game against the Orcs I dont think we can lay the blame at his door for any losses. The LC possibly, but no-one played well that game.

I'm very happy with this, good keeper who will get better. Hope we sign him permanently.

We also trusted Kayal and Izzaguirre last season and didn't win the league, we should probably just sell them eh?

And get rid of Lennon while we're at it and get a full new squad in.

    Some people astound me.

I really hope he does do well, don't get me wrong but i think he needs a decent GK coach, read a decent interview with Andy Goram who was struggling at Rangers and got his old GK coach up from England, worked wonders for his confidence. I know people say he will get better but he's in his 20s now and would really need to mend the cracks pretty soon. I hate bringing Shay Given up in arguments as he's one of the best about but he was so natural, even as a teenager- winning matches for his school virtually on his own. I think Forster needs a coach who can understand where he's coming from. In my opinion, he's a little too tall but he can't help that but he needs to make it a positive, he really should be cleaning up in the air so needs to develop his confidence. Hopefully he will go from strength to strength.

Hoping to see a lot more live Celtic games this year, may have to give in and get SKY:38:

Forster is at a further stage of his development than McGregor was at that age. Where I sit at CP I am in line with Forster and Stevie Woods when they do their warm up and they work hard on his catching and kicking. Given his age this technique will get better and I would argue that as the season went on it did improve. His catching will get better as he fills out a bit as well. He perhaps is a little quiet for a keeper but am sure that will get better also.

Trust me, he is not a little too tall for a keeper. That is a strength.

Like I said. I'm still skeptical, but I rate him better than Zaluska. Heck, I rate myself higher than Zaluska.

Can be if developed properly. I guess Van Der Saar would be a positive example but in my humble opinion, 6'1- 6'3 is about the right height e.g Neville Southall, Peter Shilton, Greg Coupet. There is a trend towards bigger keepers these days but not so sure that these guys know how to maximise their big frames, De Gea looks very shakey so far at Manure.

AC Milan won the Serie A last season with a loan signing
AC Milan won the Champions League a few years ago with a loan signing
Inter Milan won the Serie A a few years ago with a loan signing.
Real Madrid currently have two players on loan
Bayern Munich currently have a player on loan

I could probably go on. I don't get where the myths of big clubs don't loan players comes from.
