    he sayed this ages ago i want a forward and goalkeeper but i wanna cb instead of a left back we have mulgrew and matthews and ledley can play there also

    Saying the rights - moving out of the transfer stronger than when it opened!

    As long as we make the signings we need we'll be fine, as the scouts & Lenny have done great so far and have uncovered a few gems!

    Whether we uncover some more or splash out for Gordon and Santa Cruz remains to be seen!

    Certainly the financial reports suggest we can afford to sign a bit of quality - we just need players who want to play & win, not those all about the money - a la Robbie 'I've always wanted to play in the MLS' Keane :rolleyes:

    Slim to none. We have done practically zilch so far this window so i dont see how anything is going to change.
    We have been as tight as the Huns over the goalie farce and being linked with either people who are past it or far too expensive.

    And tbh i would rather we saw some going through the 'Out' door too.

    Why would we want another left back? We have great cover with Mulgrew, Ledley, Mathews, Wilson and Twardzik - In that order.

    You don't need to be left footed to put in a shift at left back. * wasting money on somecunt who's only going to play a few games.

    Obviously another keeper is needed, even if Zaluska is first choice, Cervi is nowhere near good enough to be second in command.

    I think we need a commanding centre half. Maj doesn't do it well enough for me and should be back up at most.

    If we go for a striker he has to be useful in the air.

    Business is slow at the moment, not getting my hopes up at all.

    Gets said all the time. He's not going to come out and say that we've done our shopping and we're happy. Especially after he, and Lennon, did say end of last season we will bring in some quality.
    1 for the future is not quality for me. Lennon needs 2-3 players and we deserve not to be treated with content anymore about signings. Can't accept some of the panto styled transfer dealings and saga's.
    Only 2 weeks left.

    Yes it is slow , however when was the last time we did business other than the last 2 weeks of the window ?? not very often as i remember so i am optimistic

    Past couple of seasons we've had majority of our transfers done in July. But i agree i'm looking forward to the last couple of weeks of the window hoping for a few surprises.

    Lennon will have a list of players hes waiting to see where they are and whats the script with them, and that will only happen after the opening games of a season, he will work hard to get who he wants, i back Lennon 100% in his transfers dealings

    Need to wait to see.

    The reason why we've lost out on euro money, which he is complaining about - is lack of investment or poor investment e.g. Maloney, Sammy, Rasmussen, Hooiveld etc...

    When we do sign players, they are more often than not - *.

    Lenny has a decent record now, so hopefully he can get more Izzys & Kayals - less Murphys & Madges.

    We need faces out, beofre we'll see many in...3 out on loan so far.

    would think they may want to move on Sammy or Murphy before signing another striker, we don't need to be paying wages for 5 strikers. 6 if you include Rasmussen.

    although its all about getting in the right player...I don't think Lenny will sign players for the sake of adding numbers to the squad..its big enough already.

    Thats a big part of the problem ,A few of these players are on good wages but noone as far is interested in them ,Have club's made enquiries about any ? Or have Celtic over priced them and put others off ?

    I don't think anyone has asked about any of them ,
