If he can only play for for 10 - 15 mins per game why is his wage not the same ?

Does he get 6 - 8 times less than other players.

    Probably not.

    Why ?

all i said was that he's a bench player so if the right fee comes in we should sell and all the McCourt defenders came rushing out.

it's quite odd. i've never experience this as a Celtic fan. it's usually everyone finding a scapegoat.

Sell him and Maloney . sign Templeton from Hearts , Templeton and James Forrest we will have two of the best wingers in the league for years to come and two of the biggest talents within the spl and the future of Celtic football club will be sorted.

agree 100%. wouldn't mind Swanson either. think options of Brown, Commons, Forrest and Templeton/Swanson would be outstanding options imo and one that will get better within the next three years.

I can't believe your quoting Paddy in the same breathe as those 2. Some people need to get a grip on reality. If paddy was greek everyone would be wanting him sold.

Paddy's been on the bench so much that there's now an imprint saying "Paddy's Pants" in his maws best handwriting.

Get a grip guys he ain't good enough to hold down a regular place which is no good to celtic. If he wasn't irish he'd be getting boo'd and we all know it.

i love paddy he is amazing to watch when he gets a game if you are going to have anyone on the bench i would rather it be paddy as a super sub i wouldnt have him in the team every week unless he shows hes doing it when he gets his chance,he hasent showed up to now,hes not on big money either so cant be that much of a drain on wages.

I've seen one of those 2 almost constantly for a good few years, and the other one in a few games, too. Paddy does the same things they do, mostly. With the same success rate. He just needs to be trusted, and given enough playing time.

Yep. Not everyone likes trying to break their head reading text speak and remember we have foreign members who are also part of the Celtic family. It's especially difficult for them to read text speak.

Also, we're doing you a favour by helping you improve your grammar :86:

if McCourt's as good as what some think on here, he'd be linked to Real Madrid, not Wolves

I remember watching an ageing Prosinečki playing against us in a euro tie. He stood in the middle and passed us off the park.

Paddy ain't in the same class nor nowhere near it. Honestly.

Some of us, me included have a tendency to view celtic players in a better light than they really are.

Getting back to Sammy, i like the big guy and what he did to Rangers was brilliant, however, i think it's silly to make out he's more useful than Paddy. Sammy needs about four touches to get the ball under control! Can't understand the hype about Forrest either but i will reserve judgement until i see a bit more of him- from what i've seen though Maloney is more useful.

Prosinečki could pass, dribble and shoot really well, and people loved him. Paddy can too, so what's the negative comments for? Paddy is similar to Prosinečki, with a bit more accent on the dribbling part- but he's a cracking player, when looking at any offensive skill he has. Prosinečki was better for one thing: set pieces. This Paddy doesn't do. But he's still top class.

we'd make a profit offloading McCourt and getting in Templeton.

at 28, McCourt has peaked. Templeton will only get better. also, it could be argued that McCourt has had his time to shine and hasn't grasped it so it's time for someone else to get their chance.
