    Hi guys,

Haven't been up to Celtic Park for a couple of years now, am up Saturday for the Dundee Utd game, can't wait!! Just wondering if there are any decent pubs within a 5-10 min walk from Celtic Park which are good for a pre match pint. Or is it really a case of hitting the gallowgate early?

    Thanks

The Oak, it's just across the road from Paradise.

    you'll never walk alone
i have walked by the oak bar on the way to every game for last 10 years and thought, that seems like a dive, went in last season and it was perfectly fine.

    No decent pubs in sight!!

but i somtimes pop in to the Springfield Vaults for a quick pint, at the corner of Springfield Rd / London Rd (behind Lisbon Lions end) it's full of Celtic fans and cheap if i recall.

For decent pubs though a bit more of a walk will be required!

Try the Celtic Supporters Club on London Rd-'Guest can be signed in there' - Good pint and decent surroundings in there. Especially handy if you are coming up from the South.
