I was sat in 111 too.
The lads up the back were just drunk, annoying chavs. The Police chant was a bit out of order, so was getting yourself thrown out of the stadium during a Charity match. Didn't think the language was appropriate for a family event, either....
Was funny that they knew about 5 songs, but only 2 or 3 lines from them lol.

Never had issues at a game. Couple of times abroad with the hOOps I've had abuse for wearing a kilt.

Guys next you sounds like total arseholes. Wouldn't worry about it next time.

I had a mate from work who leans towards the Orcs and got him a ticket last night. I have to say he really enjoyed the atmosphere, but... I was aware there were a few phannies where the GB sit trying to big it all up and wasnt in keeping with the event. The stewarding was terrible, there were a row of guys in front of me who had bottles of bucky and beer with them. In saying that , they were fine.

We were up the very back of the JS stand mate, started off six of us and we tried to start a bit of atmosphere as it was my mates birthday and we wanted him to have a good time.. and we stuck the the original songs that should be sung at a charity match, but at half time alot of people came up and half of them were steaming and were starting * like PMFA and up the ra and i was trying to shut them up and get them to sing unoffensive songs that everyone could join into but they werent having it! We just started as around 6 odd people trying to have a wee laugh and then they appared and ruined it for us a bit.. i didnt know people giving others cheek mate just giving our support a bad name and am disgraced but we couldnt exactly tell them to go away didnt want to cause trouble and i apoligise on their behalf if they ruined it for you mate :38:

You will get some mongs, mostly just kids who have not yet matured and learned the history, or the English language yet. Don't let it spoil your day at all, Celtic Park has the best support and atmosphere on a bad day, wait 'til you're there on a good day :icon_mrgreen:

You should have noted their seat no's , excused yourself, gone downstairs and made a complaint to the stewards who would have kept their eye on them and they would have quickly sorted them out the first opportunity they got.

I'm lucky enough to have had no problems with anyone sitting around us at games, If you can't have a rant at football games it wont be the same. You get more laughs than rants.

Generally when at the football the crowd is decent apart from the usual shouts of incoherent nonesense in regards to players etc. I find this the most frustrating thing about going to Celtic Park.

I almost never went to Parkhead after the home game against Lyon in the Champions League. I was the lone person out of about 7 mates who had to sit alone a row back and a wee bit away from them to the right. I was smashed and pretty hyper after a great day during the day. Every time Celtic got near Lyon's 18 yard box I'd stand up. We'd done this quite a bit in the first half.

I was sat next to this guy (in his late 40s, stank of smoke, leather jacket from the 80s and a bitter look on his face) who was also on his own, but was apparently a season ticket holder. I stood up after a shot by Liam Miller went wide and he started accusing me of picking his pocket! Couldn't believe it. The folk next to him (a couple) got involved shouting me down and accusing me of lying after I'd claimed he was full of *.

Luckily my mates became aware of it and got involved too. One guy near them offered to switch seats at half-time. It was a horrible experience and I thought about never going back after that. I hate to play this card, but I think it was because I've got the foreign look about me and he thought he was on my own. Made me think we were no better than the other half, but quickly threw that thought out of my head.

    Highly upsetting though.

you always get a few * at games, the guy beside me regularly turns up steaming and annoys the * out of everyone around him, nearly causing a fight last season.

Then there's a guy a few rows infront of me who used to like shouting racist abuse at n'guemo when he was here

at least these idiots are in the minority and most people that go to games are decent
