When did i mention fergie ? Im sure he does take city serious be crazy to say otherwise although im sure he will see mancini bite the dust aswell before he retires just like he seen of challenges for dominance in english football from ancellotti, jose, benitez, wenger etc etc. And finally your talking about facts, heres another you got beat on your own turf in a derby and your happy about it. Its sad ,surely the celtic fan inside you must tell you that.

You didnt mention him...I did. The reason being that he sees what he's up against even if the fans dont. Mancini will make him eat his 'never in my lifetime' crap. Also, you want to talk about derbies?....really? :56:

Obviously I was happy about the performance but not the result. Mind you, it has about the same level of disappointment about it as the Charity Shield defeat...and we all know what happened the next match after luring you into that particular false sense of security..

Better? Okay than pal, when've you won 19 league titles, 3 european cups then I'll listen to you.

So what if its Evans? It's still a defender and makes it even. Was 3-0 at half time, so I believe we did 'rip you a new one', then as we always do, we became complacent in the second half.

Is actually funny how giddy all the Massives are getting, cannot * wait for the Sheik to * you up. :icon_mrgreen:

I didnt know whether he meant now or generally. :87:

Yes fair enough, they do have the better team now. But if they were as much better than us as people are making them out to be, then why are they only 2 points ahead of us?

Were better cos were above you in the league...or hadnt you noticed? As for the comparison you make...Im talking about how both of the games transpired...one game you won by clinging on by your fingernails and the other you got pumped in your worst ever result against us. It wouldnt have mattered that day if you had brought another player on never mind having one removed :56:

How can you even make assumptions like that? Yes, well done you beat us 6-1. You're starting to feel the pressure now, and you will slip up at some point.

Your ahead of us by 2 points pal, dont think you can say you're better than us cos of that. If you win the league then yes you'll be the better team than us.

tbh im in no favour of Utd or City and quite frankly couldnt care less who wins the league, but, Man City have won 7 of their last 8 league games, so what indication is there that they are feeling the pressure more and will slip up sooner than United?

We've had a hard set of fixtures recently, Spurs away, Chelsea away, Liverpool home, Norwich away. They've had Blackburn, Bolton at home.

Theyve got a tough set of fixtures ahead and ours is easier, this is the time of the season when it really matters.

A City supporting mate said to me if we're still 2 points behind them after Spurs away then we'll win the league.

id suggest that if Man Utd can win tough games...then top of the league City can too

i think City will be Champions in May tbh, might be wrong though, its unpredictable

Thats my whole point. Just because a few idiots come out in the press or cant contain themselves on twitter doesnt mean you have to believe them that were feeling the pressure. In fact if anything the dumb attempts to destabilise us shows where the pressure is really being applied. Yes were ahead of you by 2 points and if it stays that way till the end of the season that will do nicely cheers.

Dont believe the hype mate, we have an abundance of players and staff who have coped admirably under far more duress in such situations before. Btw...on the evidence of whats taken place in the premiership this season and given our respective positions I think its pretty much obvious were doing better than you. Said it before...the league doesnt lie :50:

That's bollocks, one of the weakest EPL league in a long while this year.

Man United will win the title btw, I * hate United and would rather see City but they will win it now.

Agree with Devlin, don't think it's been a strong year, Man United aren't a patch on the team of recent years, Chelsea have declined, Arsenal are now struggling to establish themself as a top 4 team and Liverpool don't have the required quality to ever put a serious challenge to the Manchester dominance, Spurs will never seriously compete to win the league IMO, they'll always drop away, especially if Harry RedKnob takes the England job full-time.

United have the vital experience which will see them clinch the title, I'm convinced they'll win the title.

    Wigan
    Wolves
    Bolton

I reckon they'll go down aswel.

Im pretty sure City have had the best record any team has ever had up to this point in the prem...why would you think they would lose it? All the evidence seems to suggest otherwise.

Also, this is Uniteds best record ever at this point, if they do manage to win it it will be a record attempt by them. Just because other teams have fallen by the wayside doesnt mean to say they havent had to keep pace with City. A two horse race or a 4 horse race doesnt matter, at the end of the season you have to finish in front.

The City team don't have it.

Certain members of the squad do, ones like Yaya Toure. Others? Not really, Gareth Barry, James Milner, Aguero, Vincent Kompany, Joe Hart, Micah Richards, David Silva, Samir Nasri don't.

How about Mancini,Platt, Dzeko, Kolo Toure,Pizarro,Tevez,Clichy? David Silva is a world cup winner in case you didnt know and Kompany has won the Belgian top flight with Anderlecht.

Like I've said you've got the better set of players. You're saying that you're the better team now, but there's still a long way to go.
