I'm truly excited by JVoH in the team.
He seems to have everything a big striker needs, strength, vision, control, clinical finishing, good in the air, good with both feet, takes up good positions, links well - here is the only problem, he would be dynamite with an established partner upfront.
The only answer we seem to have at the moment is Riorden, he's the best finisher at the club (after JVoH). I'm sure that WGS could turn him into an out and out stiker, MON did it with Larsson & Wenger did it with Henry - both went on to become world class sritkers - I'm sure that Riorden would do really well in partnership with JVoH, Goals galore!!!

JVoH will score against Milan (Gila), I've no doubt about that - just ask Rio Ferdinand how good the big man is (& he's had a longer run in the team now, so watch out!!)

    I agree:50:
Riordan seems the ideal candidate to partner JVOH up front.
If that works out...it will save us Millions..:50:

I don't know, the fact he didn't score for a PSV team that were probably equal or perhaps a little better in ability makes me think he won't score VS Milan, but then again, we had Nesta fit + Stam..

But he was very very important in the great and amazing 3-1 win over your team :84: , With a assist on Park..

    VOH has played 4 times against AC Milan, a 0-2 loss, a 0-0 draw a 1-0 win and a 3-1 win.

VOH will be a starter today against Russia! Sno isn't selected...

Yeah, but think about it Gila, if he can score against Man Utd, he can score against AC, let alone without Nesta. :86:

    Pardon???

He started in the 3-1 win over Milan and 1-0 win over Milan,
he was a sub in the 2-0 loss against AC Milan because tactical reasons... He didn't play in the 0-0 draw against AC Milan because a red card

And Vennegoor has never lost against AC Milan in his carreer :50:

Ive always though JVOH was a top player.Remember seeing him play for FC Twente back in about 99/00 and thought he was one to watch.
Glad hes with us-just what we need to win CL. :84:
