glad too see this up and running :)

hoep it helps people out. i have asecond interview on tuesday fingers crossed!

    edit:

i have a business degree and i found that the most effective way to get an interview is to be very specific with your cover letter. for instance quote company mission statements etc (obviously of the company your applying for).

and also i have went back old school and simply walking in and just asking if i could speak with the manager. then go from there. it seems to work quite well.

glad people are getting good use from this thread :)

right guys, im going to this hospitality thing at celtic park on thursday but i dont really know what it is. All they have told me is that they are having a recruitment drive, i dont know whether it is an interview or more of a training day and because of this i dont know what clothes to wear. Dose anyone know what it might be?

best just be safe buddy and go with smart. however if you wanna play it safe maybe just trousers and shirt tie and shoes.

i am a strong believer you can never be too smart for these things mate. and if you look overdressed atleast you will stand out and they will remember you:50::50:

ok, dilemma time. Since i posted this i applied for the gumtree thing at celtic park which waspocelts posted, they have sinced e-mailed me telling me to be outside the celtic superstore at 5pm on thursday. But the official celtic hospitality team have told me to be outside the main entrance at 6pm on Thursday for a different job within celtic. Celtic are just so desperate to employ me :icon_mrgreen:

ill probably just go at 5 and tell the people that i have something else to attend at 6 which is probably more important, cause id rather work in the official hospitality part of celtic park on a matchday than in the * kiosks. What was your interview for mate?

yeah good idea mate, will be funny though when they see you again in half a hour walking past.haha.

was for sales and account management in a company near me. for some reason the top top bloke wanted to interview me after my intial interview. he was to say the least not very friendly. but spose just got to wait and see.

in the mean time my days are wasted on the internet and eating mcdonalds.:56:
