Facebook will temp ban here for those types of comment. Also, if they have jobs...most likely they don't anymore. Those types of comments always come back to bite them in the * latter.

For the most part yes, they regulate us to the point that we can't say many things on the air.

Ah right, that's good to hear, would be nice if they were prosecuted for it though. :50:

Compared to other forums the mods here do a good job at keeping the junk out. If this were on the other forum I belong too this would have gotten way out of hand by now.

Very true, was only using them as one example of regulations on unacceptable speech.

The irony of these Americans is Japan is a crucial ally of America and America rely on them for technological advances. Chances are the PC they were using to type those ill educated, racist, hate mongering and disgusting comments were done on Japanese developed chipset :56:

Freedom of press is different than freedom of speech buddy. You can't be prosecuted for racism in the U.S.

    Indeed.

It is a privately owned site (i believe), therefore they are able to stipulate their own rules.

But, (and again, you can correct me if I'm wrong), an American citizen has the right to freedom of speech, and freedom of assembly (or something along those lines?).....meaning they would be free from prosecution?

I won't expand on this further you proved me something anyway.

I was expecting someone else to do that. I don't mind bringing in other countries in the discussion That's what you get in a good debate. but I got slandered for doing so in a different one. And the double standard is amazing. But feel free to include other countries it's not a problem for me as it gives a debate a better context. Now my opinion is that these people most definitely not represent the average American.

Yes, unless the speech can be shown to be a threat or intent to harm.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is carrying over a difference of opinion from one thread to another, and taking it off topic not classed as 'trolling'?

Anyway, back to the topic at hand........

I take it that would have to be a 'first-person' threat then i.e.

    'I'm going to kill you'

Then you have the likes of the Phelps family saying '* is going to kill you' or something along those lines.

I take it that is how they get away with their hate preaching because they are not directly threatening people as such?

Depends on how good the prosecutor is at proving his or her case against the person in question tbh.

No I exposed a double standard that's all. Now let's discuss this issue or not comment or else it does become trolling.

We were never laughing are rejoicing, you are basing your whole opinion of our country off 1 group of idiot frat boys who probably couldnt even find hiroshima on a map. After the Tsunami the Red Cross was collecting donations for japan at almost every street corner and it was a group of American Marines who volunteered to go into the area near fukushima, without any radiation protection, to rescue people left behind in the evacuation.

Funny enough I am pretty sure you once said you rejoiced at 9/11 and that if you had your way the United states would be divided along ethnic lines and different races wouldn't be able to interact, Yet my whole country is racist because of some silly facebook page
