    Who are players you're like "Aw * man wish we had signed them" either due to the transfer fee or we were rumored and they ended up at different clubs etc.

    couple i can think of are:

    - Kevin thomson due to the fact the huns got him and imo when fit he is better than Scott Brown.

    - Adel taarabt due to the modest £1m price he went to QPR for.

    Drogba apparently asked about Celtic but Momo Sylla told him he wouldnt get in the team because Sutton and Larrson were still here.

    I am going to add Craig Bellamy in the summer of 2005 coz if Dermot Desmond had just paid the £5million to Newcastle,we'd have got him ahead of Blackburn imo and Strachan wouldn't have bought Zurawski for £2.2million and it would have been great seeing a Bellamy,Hartson/Sutton partnership on WGS's first season and they wouldn't have failed at Artmedia and we would have qualifed for the Last 16 in WGS's first season so then arguably 3 back to back Last 16 qualifications for WGS.

    Totally agree! I loved Broto and to think we had Magnus Hedman in the 2003/2004 CL campaign,Hedman cost us an away victory against Bayern Munich and more,if we had Broto then we'd have qualified for the Last 16(and potentially beyond)
